“Gem of a find.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 June 2013 via mobile

Stayed at Fraser Suites across the road and went here for breakfast. One of the best bacon rolls I've ever tasted. Nice big pot of tea and a cake to accompany. Interesting decor and fantastic staff. Two lovely gents were on the morning of 22nd June, thanks for your lovely service. Very cheap. Gutted it wasn't open on a Sunday or I would have been back with my partner.

“Not your average greasy spoon”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 April 2013

With young, exuberant serving staff, interesting decor and free wifi, this certainly goes above and beyond the call of duty for your regular "caff". The food isn't really anything special, but everything else about this place means I would choose it over other cafes nearby. Cheap and cheerful, they do your standard range of cafe food: filled rolls, soup, sandwiches etc. and you can enjoy that with a pot of tea, browsing the internet or doing work for as long as you want. There's no feeling that they're just trying to move you through- a very homely feel; and the fact that it's run by disadvantaged young adults really gets it bonus points. An inspiration.
