Took the plunge and visited yesterday. Welcome to the restaurant was extremely pleasant. Given brief explanation of what foods they had and where they were. Then told to ask if we wanted anything else. Occasionally waiter/waitress bobbed to check all was OK but were not overly imposing which is good.
Great varied assortments of food. Starters are great and there are a wide selection, as are the Indian main meals. Pizzas were ok, although appeared to be just warm. Didn't try the Spanish selection at all, but the Chinese main meals were good also.
Everything that was tried was really good, available in abundance. Nicely laid out premises and excellent staff. All for 5.99 per head. Drinks seem to be slightly expensive but probably an easy way to offset the food costs.
Would visit again…..

Having eaten here quite a number of times sometimes it's down to your luck where you are seated, it can be filled with screaming kids which puts you right off and today the chicken wings were bloody inside (The manager said this was normal for chicken wings)
Good friendly service and the sweets are nice too so overall probably a 7/10.

‘World buffets’ seem to be flavour of the month these days.

This place is one of a chain of six in and around Glasgow. A similar ‘dine around the globe’ concept opened near Edinburgh’s Playhouse Theatre last year with a similar version due to start welcoming guests later this month in the capital’s Quartermile complex.

Like Tesco’s original slogan, the basic philosophy is ‘Pile ‘em high and sell ‘em cheap,’ only in this case charging a premium for drinks.

At £10.99 per head (£13.99 for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays, £10.99 through the week, as little as £5.99 for weekday lunch) for the Sunday buffet it’s good value. The choice is mouth-watering, at least in scope: Chinese, Thai, Indian, Italian, Mexican, Spanish. There are starters, main courses, a salad and seafood bar, and a dessert menu with an ice cream stall all included in the price.

At these prices you shouldn’t expect great quality and you don’t get it here. Definitely quantity over quality. Chicken predominates: My sweet and sour was dough-like.

Faced with such a food mountain the temptation is to gorge but to be fair to my fellow diners most were tucking into reasonable portions.

Drink prices are high: almost £4 for a pint of Cobra beer and £2.70 for a large coke.

Staff are plentiful and generally helpful, but can be over-enthusiastic: at 6.30 pm the cleaning monitoring sheet in the gents’ toilet stated it had been checked at 8!

I was really sceptical about this place but it was for someone's birthday so had no choice but to
Go. The food was really good and the staff were lovely. I ate mostly the Indian food and a few things from the Chinese section. For desert I had marshmallows covered in chocolate from the chocolate fountain - loved it all. All the good sitting out you could tell was fresh. Would recommend this place.
