Description: Our name dates back to 1871, when the pub was owned by whisky maker Archibald Lauder. Back then it had seven bars including a secret one upstairs, and even a barber's shop downstairs. These days we don't offer a haircut for a penny, but we do serve up a cracking pint of cask ale and plenty of tasty pub-food - all at great prices.

“Great Value”

Went to Lauder's Pub on Tuesday for a bar meal and pint. Great place to go - 2 mains for £7.50. food wholesome and staff so nice. It's maybe not the Ritz but for value for money nobody can touch it. Right in the city centre as well. Give it a try.

“Good value”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

We popped into Lauders for a quick bite pre theatre, big portions, cheap prices and yes its pub grub and no its not the best meal you'll ever eat but you get what you pay for and it does the trick. The staff (bar and restaurant) are really friendly and the service is good. I would recommend the sundaes and the gourmet hotdogs but avoid the onion rings.

“Fab.”

Typical pub grub perfect for everyone the prices are cheap as chips and the food is excellent. Would definitely recommend it for all ages, the pub is always busy but the food is never cold and the wait is never long. Top notch!

“Kitchen closed”
Reviewed 3 May 2014 via mobile

The menu and signs outside clearly say food available from 11am to 10pm 7 days a week. Four of us went in at 9:15pm and were told instantly that the kitchen was closed, disappointed!

“Get what you pay for”
Reviewed 25 April 2014 via mobile

Had a good meal here on a thursday night. Place was busy which is a good sign, staff mostly all very friendly. Food pretty decent for the price paid and portion size. Not fine dining but you get what you pay for. Would def return.
