In Glasgow ther are many courses that are simply enjoyable to play and will test your game in all conditions and Haggs is one of these. This is not a course that you can boast to your golfing pals in Surrey or Houston about playing because they will not have knowledge about this course, but this is a course that any golfer will enjoy playing.
After your game adjourn to the clubhouse and you will be very satisfied by the food and refreshments at reasonable prices.
Would I recommend Haggs? Yes. Do I want to play over it again? Most definitely!
This course layout is typical of a John Braid design, although that is not the heritage of this course first laid out in 1910 over 9 holes and subsequently extended to the present18 hole layout.
