The house was lovely. Gordon and Anne are wonderful host and I would not hesitate to stay with them again.
An enjoyable stay in a comfortable, convenient, spotlessly clean 'upside-down' modern town house.
On the door step of the city centre and just around the corner from the Glasgow School of Art. A 20 minute and easy walk to the Kelvingrove Museum, which is a must whatever your age!
You are immersed into the full flavour of the 'bohemian' where this lovely little house is; expect to be unexpected - you certainly won't be disappointed and certainly won't go hungry, eateries around every corner!
Particularly go to the; Banana Leaf (Malaysian) and the Wee Curry House, 2 minute walk away.
You are allowed to after all that walking!
This house was in an extremely good condition and did not lack for anything. It was very comfortable, light and airy and within walking distance to the shopping area of Glasgow. The private parking is a great facility being so near the centre and was easy to access.
Gordon met us on arrival and talked us through everything and was a phone call away should we have needed it.
It seems Anne and Gordon thought of everything needed to make our stay feel like a true home away from home. The house was just perfect and was conveniently located to city centre. Anne and Gordon did an excellent job of providing information about the home and about surounding area. Once they knew we were interested in traditional Scottish fare, they sent an email with specific recommendations. The home very comfortably sleeps four people, without using sofa bed. I would definitely stay at this home again and would highly recommend this home. All the best to Anne and Gordon for a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year!
Great apartment, well furnished with nice attention to detail, spotlessly clean, fully equipped - couldn't ask for more. Bonus to be so close to city centre too - parking on the door step. We couldn't ask for more - very impressed and will definitely return.
A clean and well appointed house close to Glasgow centre. With the advantage of being in a quiet area.
Slightly awkward parking.
We'd previously stayed in the West End - and lovely though it is - we soon realised how much we'd been missing! Garnethill is a perfect location - so near to so lots of 'must sees' and of course the shops all within easy walking distance.
Anne was a perfect host - good communication before we arrived and a tour of the flat when we got there. The apartment is well and comfortably furnished with personal touches throughout. The weather was a bit 'nippy' whilst we were there and it was lovely to return to our warm and comfy house.
We'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Glasgow.
