I saw this place whilst around Glasgow cross during the Commonwealth games and have been looking for an opportunity to try it out. We went on a friday night not sure what to expect.
The place was pretty quiet with only a few tables taken. We were met by a friendly waitress who showed us to our table and took our drinks order.
Rather than look at the menu, I just asked the waitress to bring us whatever they wished. This is sometimes a gamble but it paid off big time!
We had a rice dish with fried plantains and chicken in a tomato sauce. This was followed by a phenomenal baked fish with a chilli relish and a side of fried yam chips.
The food was perfectly cooked and bursting with a real depth of flavour. The ingredients were fresh and exotic.
To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect from The Experience Kitchen, but was blown away by the friendliness of the staff and the superb food.
I will definately be back with high expectations and look forward to enjoying more of their amazing cooking!
