“Absolute shambles from start to finish!!!”

Absolutely TERRIBLE!!!

Don't waste your time, money or petrol going here!

NEVER in my life have I been to something to disorganised and so boring as this "super cars experience" was!!

Standing for 6hours PLUS when upon booking was given an allocated time to be there for... Completely pointless as they had no way of sticking to it!
Clip board and pen with the inability to count or keep track of the order the numbers ran from a few members of staff!!

First car of the day was "The hot laps track car"... Not as "hot" as it sounds!
It was an ancient old Peugeot which was a heap of junk!! Not what was advertised when bought!

After that "experience" and some more waiting, finally was called forward for my "super car laps" so hopped in the car (Aston Martin vantage) and first thing I noticed was engine management lights lit up the dash board like a Xmas tree!! Car would not accelerate or change up the gears and my max speed was 35mph if that... With foot to the floor! Track was crowed with the other cars and tiny, not enough space or distance to open up the car on the straights!
My final car of the day (after another 2 hour wait) was the Ferrari... Great car... But again, not put to it's full potential! Was told to slow down coming into corners that i was approaching at no more than 20mph and not to accelerate hard. Car shuddered as I did so and took too long for gears to select or change!

As this was bought for a Xmas present, I was incredibly let down and appalled at how terrible it all was!
Cars advertised at time of purchase were not even there to be driven and the cars that were there, were being taken off track throughout the day meaning longer waiting times!

Just to add insult to injury, charging people £25 upon arrival for damage cover and then a further £20 for some pictures in one car, then £5 per car after on a memory card on top of the whole thing was just a another money making con!

Want a fun, exciting, well organised experience??

GO TO KNOCKHILL!!!

“AVOID AVOID AVOID. CHAOTIC. DISORGANISED. WOM!!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 July 2014

This has to be the WORST example of attraction planning and execution i have ever experienced. The correspondence allocates a time! No, thats to help them (ha ha ha) plan the day.
No PA to make annoucements.
Cars damaged and unavailable.
Cars with engine warning lights on.
Staff that dont give a damn - "yev paid but ye can leave if yer no happy!"
Great way to waste a day.
Who actually owns these de-plated cars?? Privately owned and rented our for the day perhaps? The manufacturers: Ferrari, Porsche, Audi and Lotus would certainly not want their marque associated with this outfit I'm sure.

“Driving Miss Daisy, boring, boring, boring and not cheap either!!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014

Completely agree with the previous reviewer.I was hoping for a supercars experience,or at least thats how it was advertised,as it was I ended up driving an Aston Martin and a Ferrari at a max speed of 40mph,probably averaged 25mph,around a tiny track.Constantly being told to "ease off" or "slow down" or "take the corner wider",its obvious that the number one priority is to minimise wear and tear on the cars the customer experience is a very distant second. Also DO NOT TAKE the extra insurance,I can guarantee you that there is absolutely no way that you will ever make a claim driving at these speeds.

At one point I was told to stop mid way round a lap because the car in front was going so Slow!!! Not my expectation of a supercar experience.

DO NOT waste your money get a track day at Knockhill instead its much more fun and cheaper.

Absolute rip off,as you are probably aware by now I will never be back.

“Like driving a supercar with your granny in the passenger seat”

recently booked a family day out "driving supercars " at Crail airfield, very dissappointed with the "experience" . it should be re titled " go for a nice leisurely drive in a sports car " as soon as you accelerate the instructor would tell you to brake for the next corner, far to early in my opinion.

As for the hot laps, they had a couple of old clapped out cars including what was laughngly called one of the best Rally cars in Scotland, an old Peugeot 205, maybe 25 years ago is was good but this one was a bag of nails, doors wouldn't open, all in all a complete waste of money and time

“Great idea needs bigger track”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 June 2014 via mobile

I took part in this driving experience in Crail near St. Andrews with a few friends. Like most guys its a dream to drive one of these stunning supercars and the selection of cars did not disappoint. The day was good however the track was far too small and did not allow you to really experience the power and speed of these vehicles. Great idea needs a much larger/true track
