This is probably the best value afternoon tea in Glasgow. We got a champagne afternoon tea for less than a normal afternoon tea in other parts of the city. The staff were fabulous and went above and beyond to ensure it was a special visit. It is a nice touch that we get to choose your own cake and the cake portion is huge. All the food was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Very special tea rooms in the heart of Glasgow with beautiful Rennie MackIntosh furniture and decor. All three of us ordered different dishes and we all thought they were delicious. The staff were so friendly. No visit to Glasgow could be complete without a visit to the Willow Tea Rooms.

We were given a voucher for a champagne afternoon tea. It was a lovely experience, especially the ambience of the Macintosh furniture and decor. The pile of food was enormous! The sandwiches were white bread and standard fillings (had the same selection last year). Nice for me but for a non cheese eater two of the four tiny sandwiches were inedible (cream cheese). Maybe a choice of filling and bread would be a nice touch - could be checked on booking.
A lady sitting by us had the French toast and bacon with maple syrup. Dry and over cooked hard bacon. Just saying!
Champagne lovely, service great, extra tea served with no extra charge. Definitely worth going.

Hello

Thank you for your review and for letting us know about your Afternoon Tea. Can you please let me know which date and approximate time you visited 97 Buchanan Street and also if you know your servers name so that I can look into this. Your server should have checked that you were happy with the sandwich choices as we can substitute for different fillings. I would appreciate any help you can give me on this. I am glad you enjoyed the rest of your food and the Champagne experience

My best friend and I lord our trip here. Based bang in the centre of the busiest shopping street in Glasgow, we were able to just pop in, and even though we hadn't booked, the staff found a way to squeeze us in and making us feel at ease. It was a super-busy afternoon and we only waited 5-10 minutes (whilst seated). The staff were lovely and the interior and decor was great. I was recommended the lemon meringue pie and loved it. We were also astounded at how cheap the bill was afterwards. Would definitely revisit.
