My boyfriend and I were up for a weekend wedding and having left booking a room late, we were thrilled to find this little B&B very close to the wedding venue. We arrived late on a Friday to the smiles and generosity of our host Tom, who quickly offered us a cup of tea before showing us to our room. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of different choices plus a fruit bowl with seasonal fruit.

Check out was a breeze and Tom was so helpful by getting us a cab back into the main part of the city. We would definitely stay there again!

I was in Glasgow for a meeting and opted for a Bed & Breakfast as I find hotels somewhat impersonal.I was thrilled with Claremont House.Fantastic prices, very comfortable rooms and I felt right at home as soon as I walked through the door. Tom, the owner, is incredibly polite and extremely friendly.Really added that personal touch. I really felt like a guest and not just another customer. Can't recommend Claremount House enough.

After reading previous reviews I chose to stay here when planning a trip with my brother, we are astounded by the service and friendlyness of the host Tom. Great value for the money, beautiful old building in a quiet area of the city about 20 min walk to the city center. This stay has exceeded my expectations and if/when I return to Glasgow this is the place to stay. Thank you very much Tom for a fantastic stay.

We chose this guest house through Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. Tom and his guest house are both absolutely delightful. Tom was welcoming and informative and our room was comfy, quiet and beautifully clean. It felt more like staying with good friends than just bed and breakfast. Glasgow was a wonderful destination and we discovered lots of brilliant attractions.

Warm reception from the lovely Tom at this tucked away guest house. Immediate offer of tea or coffee and a spacious, sunny room. Brilliant location (15 mins walk from the central city) and close to another main street (restaurants etc). Extremely good value for money as well.
Tom goes out of his way to make you feel accommodated, will give you sight seeing advice, organise taxis; pretty much anything you require, he will help!
Highly recommended for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Glasgow.

Room Tip: Stayed in the first room on the ground floor - quiet street so no traffic noise. Had no problem with...

Excellent value for money - beautiful setting - great and warm hospitality from Tom, the owner
Highly recommended!
We've been here since several years, and, somehow, Tom manages to make our stay better and better every time - all credit to him!
You can ask him anything, he will always try to help you in some way!

I spent a longer stay here and can highly recommend. House is spacious, very warm and in a fantastic position for Glasgow city centre and beyond. Building is within a quiet cul-de-sac within a Victorian Conservation Area. Extremely quiet at night. Fast secure wireless internet throughout. Unlimited hot water and powerful shower. Off street parking. Easy access to all major motorways. You can be anywhere within Glasgow within 15-20 minutes drives. Secure off street parking was a welcome bonus. Breakfasts are great.

Last, but not least, Tom is an extremely kind and considerate host. And a great cook. Nothing was too much trouble and his restaurant recommendations were first class. Overall, highly recommended. Represents excellent value for money. Will definitely be back.

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent. Fridges and widescreen TV as standard.
