We were staying near Bellahouston Park, in an area with no food options so based on the reviews we decided to hop on the bus and head over to Pollockshaws to try Ranjit's. It's small and the place was packed, but we did not have to wait long to be seated. Our waiter was very helpful with navigating the menu and made some excellent recommendations. This is one of those places where the aromas and the food was so wonderful we forgot to take pictures. It's an amazing place.

My boyfriend and I were around the area when we decided to have a quick dinner at Ranjit’s. I was so surprised at how much food it was considering the prices were really cheap. I had the aloo tikki special and it was amazing! The potatoes were so fluffy and the tamarind sauce was to die for! We also got the Thali which was a bit of everything. All in all, it was amazing and we would definitely come back again m

Can not recommend this little gem to highly. I have never considered mysef a vegetarian but the food is absolutely tip top. There was six of us and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The staff are first class at giving advice if you are not sure and are more than happy to let you try different dishes. We opted for a wide selection of dishes sampling some tremendous food. Give this splendid restaurant a try you will not be disappointed.

Lovely staff and good, homely, heartwarming food. The prices are really good, although I suppose they are fair for vegetable based dishes - most places charge way over the odds for vegan and veggie dishes that probably cost pence to make. Could have been a little more spicy.
