Dalfaber House is the perfect get away for those wanting to holiday in the Highlands and relax in a spacious, comfortable and spotless property close to the amenities of Aviemore. The large back outdoor patio is well equipped with garden furniture and a large BBQ and the garden itself looks out onto a golf course. Deer are often spotted in the undergrowth too! The house itself has everything that a family or large group would require-a large porch area with coat hooks, three spacious bedrooms, a utility area and well equipped kitchen, a dining room/TV room with patio doors to the rear and an impressive large upper floor which runs the entire length of the property. Access to the health suite/gym in the neighbouring hotel is a welcome bonus and our children particularly enjoyed swimming in the pool. Aviemore itself is a short bike ride or walk away with lots going on. We definitely hope to return to this property in the near future as it makes the perfect base for a family holiday.
I have been coming back here for 5 years now and Dalfaber house is always the first choice for our annually golf trip. The space upstairs is a great social space and the house is always clean and tidy. The house is located just off the first hole of Spey Valley and is a short drive to the centre of Aviemore or a nice walk. In nearby proximity, there is a convenience store and a selection of takeaways,
7 of us stayed at Dalfaber House for the week to celebrate a birthday. The house is located in a lovely street just off the MacDonald Golf course and has a superb upstairs area for socialising.
The combination of the house and sporting activities Aviemore has to offer was brilliant. Dalfaber house has ample parking space for cars and a double garage with plenty room for storing bikes/skies/kayaks.
The host Kevin responded to my numerous queries almost instantly and was great to deal with.
I will be back to this lodge and highly recommend it!
We had a week stay in August 2016, Dan take care of us, apartment is in very nice area near golf club, wide and clean rooms, although some beds were making sound while sleep and toilets need to be modern and refurbish, beautiful TV room upstairs with few games options, nice self check in and check out facility, nice parking space many attractions near the area,
it took almost 20 minutes to reach Inverness from Aviemore, we had nice rail trip in Aviemore and a wild park nearby as well as mountain heights as well , i forgot the name of that mountain heights adventure but it was nice experience , there is a lovely lake near the apartment and a river as well.
its a small town with supermarket and with few restaurants ,I would definitely recommend to stay Dalfaber House, 21 Dalfaber Park , it was pleasure to stay there.
We have just returned from a stay at Dalfabet House and will definitely be going back. Beautiful surroundings(deer in the back garden!) and the house is spacious, spotless and well appointed. There is so much to do in Aviemore and this property is ideally placed to explore all the area has to offer, with the knowledge that a prosecco on the patio at Dalfaber House, overlooking the forest will be the perfect end to the day. And the deer might just pop up to say hello.
