Myself and a friend stayed in one of the EcoPods on a recent stay. These are small wooden structures that look a bit like an upturned boat with the ends cut off, but contain enough room for comfortable living, and all the usual amenities. The double bed was extremely comfortable, and the room quiet, so sleeping was no problem. The room was warmed gently by underfloor heating, and was always an acceptable temperature. There were good tea and coffee making facilities, and as the Pod had a small fridge, our hosts provided fresh milk for our stay. The shower room/toilet was immaculately clean (as was the rest of the Pod), and although I could see it being looked on as a bit small for some people's tastes, I found it more than adequate.

The breakfasts were first class - well cooked, generous portions, very tasty, and brought out to the Pod from the main house (only about 20 m, so they didn't get cold). Our hosts were friendly and welcoming, well organised, but not intrusive.

For the price paid, this accommodation was exceptional value for money. The EcoPod idea is new to me, but is an interesting lesson in using a relatively small space in an efficient way.

We stayed at this excellent B & B over New Year and can honestly say it is outstanding . Pat , Alan and James , their son , are charming hosts and most welcoming without being intrusive . The rooms are tasteful and immaculate , the breakfasts top drawer . My husband and young son loved it as did my brother and his wife , who were staying at the same time . The location of the property affords wonderful views over the hills and one can view the pheasants , doves and other birds who come to feed in the garden each morning . I highly recommend a visit to this highland gem and we will definitely return .

This B & B located in a quiet location within easy walking distance of the town provide excellent accommodation. The hosts are most welcoming and go out of their way to ensure your needs are met. The twin bedroom is slightly small but not cramped with a well equipped shower room. The beds are comfortable and the room offer tea making facilities and a wall mounted TV. The breakfast offered is excellent and the sausages are superb.

We arrived fairly late in the evening but were made to feel welcome from the very start. As soon as we got our luggage out of the car and into our room, Pat made us a lovely cup of tea. Our room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. The B & B is situated in a quiet location, away from the high street, at the end of a cul de sac. There is secure off street parking with gated entry. There was a wide variety of food to choose from in the morning and my full Scottish breakfast was very tasty. Although we only stayed there one night, there was a relaxed atmosphere and we would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Excellent B & B. Great breakfasts, clean & comfortable, convenient location, close to village. Alan & Pat were great hosts with Alan even providing a tour of the country in his hot little sports car. My wife & I will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Aviemore.

I stayed here for four nights in July, whilst on a photography trip to the area. Everything about the B&B was great, very friendly and welcoming hosts, lovely room, great breakfast and a great location.

Would definitely recommend, and stay again! I can also highly recommend 'Speyside Wildlife' activities whilst in the area.

We were a group of walkers doing the Speyside way and spent our first and last night at Eriskay. We were warmly welcomed by Pat and Alan and offered tea or coffee on arrival. They are both lovely and helpful. The rooms are a good size, very clean and quiet so a good nights sleep is ensured. Breakfast was delicious and served fresh and hot. I would recommend this B&B and would be happy to return if I am back in the area. Eriskay is in a quiet location but only 5min walk from town centre.
