“Another good stay at Craigie View”
Reviewed 27 December 2016 for a stay in December 2016

This was our second stay at Craigie View and was as good as the first. The house is in a great location for accessing Aviemore and is generally well equipped. Lots of good cafes and shops in the town and there are fantastic walks in the area with amazing scenery. Perfect for a family trip.

“Fantastic family holiday home in a great location.”
Reviewed 8 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Our first holiday in Aviemore and what a bonus to have found Craigie View. We stayed for three nights, four adults and two children, a four year old and a 10 month old baby.
The house is comfortable, clean and well equipped with everything you would need and more including a travel cot and high chair.
Great location, local shop nearby and only a ten minute walk from Aviemore centre. Worth finding the back road and it's pushchair friendly.
Easy to book and David the owner kept in touch and provided useful information and contact numbers if needed(which we didn't).

Highly recommend Craigie View and we are already planning our next trip!!!!

“Great family holiday home”
Reviewed 18 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Weekend visit with 2 and 6 year old children.

Overall - great place in a great location. This house is much better value and has better facilities than other nearby accommodation. Close to the town, local shops and all major facilities.

Clean and spacious, the accommodation had great facilities and everything had been thought of. Pictures are a true representation and are accurate.

Very comfortable beds in all rooms and hypoallergenic bedding for the people in the family with allergies! Also great travel cot and high chair for kids. Lovely, clean modern bathrooms with plenty of hot water for kids baths/showers and clean towels.

Excellent BBQ and outside sitting area whilst kids played in good sized garden. Also a host of PS3 games and DVDs for evenings. Wifi worked perfectly which was not the case on previous visits to other local holiday homes.

Owner very helpful and prompt replies for any equities.

Will definitely use this house again in the future.

“A three and a half star review...comfortable, convenient, but tired.”
Reviewed 17 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Stayed here with family including children aged 10 and 12.

Location ....5 stars, quiet cul de sac, easy level walk takes 10 minutes to get to Aviemore and town centre.

Overall appeal to us as a family....4 stars, kids loved the PS3 , and the selection of books, DVDs and games were excellent. Beds were comfortable, excellent shower. Child friendly. Great cycle routes on our doorstep, husband is an experienced cyclist and was impressed with the cycle routes in the vicinity. Also, wifi worked well, had our own laptop, tablet etc....

Rental home....3 stars. Bangalow has a family bathroom, and separate toilet, both modern , clean. Kitchen ...plenty of crockery and cutlery but pots and pans need replaced. Kitchen itself, clean but dated, old stand alone cooker, with hot plates and oven that is not a fan oven, although didn't do much cooking, any I did do was a trial. Washer/dryer...modern, worked well. No rotary dryer outside. Bedrooms, clean and comfortable....main bedroom has patio door which have thin lined curtains, light streaming in ....would benefit from heavier curtains, especially during the summer months.

No outdoor storage for bikes, felt that there was nowhere within the house that was suitable. Husband did have locks and covers, but not ideal.....I should have checked....but I feel it's worth mentioning as when you are trying to chose a holiday home....not all information is obvious.

There is no welcome pack. But I wasn't looking for one. I arranged an online grocery shop. Ownerdid provide plenty of toilet roll and liquid soup and there were items in the kitchen such as laundry detergent and washing up liquid.

Overall....I have mixed feelings....its is a good holiday home, in a great location but a few minor things let it down. I would return if the cooker was changed, curtains updated and storage provided. However....my kids thought it was great and they were happy.

“Fabulous bright house in a great location.”
Reviewed 8 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Stayed for almost a week and found the house to be one of the best (if not the best) we have stayed at in Aviemore. A well equiped, spacious home with a beautiful enclosed garden. We will visit again! Thank you!
