I first visited Ben Macduis Inn last year and loved it so returned again this time. I certainly wasn't disappointed. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and the quality of food is excellent. The homemade lasagne is definitely worth trying, as is the butterscotch sundae (if you still have room for it!) Nice atmosphere and like the way that the eating area is kept separate from the general bar. Really recommend this as an informal dining venue in Aviemore - excellent value for money and child-friendly (before 10pm) too.

After spending a day mountain biking feeling tired and hungry we experienced a perfect end to a perfect day. On arrival at Macduis we were greeted with perfect hospitality. Menus and drinks served promptly with smiles and craic, after ordering we were delighted to be served with food that was as good if not better than it sounded on the menu. Thank you all at Macduis for a great night, look after your chef, he's worth it.

Very warm welcome when we entered the Inn.
Asked if they had gluten free menu, yes, what a bonus, no need to ask what would be suitable.
We had an excellent meal serviced by efficient, friendly staff
All in all first class

We had a good meal here, I am coeliac (gluten free) and they had a seperate menu which not all restaurants have. We had 3 courses, not that we had to as we were quite full after 2 as the portions are generous. The mushroom and brandy sauce served seperately was very good, husband commented on the onion rings with his steak were excellent. We were stuffed when we left. Bill was nearly £70 for 3 courses and 3 drinks which was very reasonable.
Staff and service are excellent.

Just back from a fantastic meal. 1st visit and will definitely be back. Prices maybe a little bit more expensive but well worth it for a good quality meal. We couldn't fault any part of our dinner and my steak was cooked to perfection. Definitely give the onion rings a try. The chocolate brownie ice cream cake & sticky toffee pudding also went down a treat. The service was also very good. Looking forward to our next visit.
