“Adrenaline Rush!!!”
Reviewed 30 May 2014

We booked up for the Zip Trek and with anticipation we arrived at Alvie Estate. First thing to mention is it's easy enough to find, about 5 miles out of Aviemore towards Kincraig and Kingussie, it's not located on the industrial estate in Aviemore so allow a bit of time to get there. Allie met us and she was lovely, very calming and helpful and my youngest was a bit nervous about the experience, Allie made her feel very safe and at ease so thank you Allie!! It's an easy 15-20 minute walk up to the first platform where you test your equipment and have a wee practice (Allie's words!) and then you're off. There are about 12 wires in all ranging from 6-8 metres right up to 100-200 metres. It's exhilarating and there is a definite adrenaline rush so it's well worth the money, it takes about 2 hours depending on the group size and you do feel a sense of achievement when you finish. I'd say it's well worth doing the Zip Trek and anyone can do it because the instructors make it happen. They are amazing - Thank you so much Allie, you made the experience amazing for us all xxx

“Great for big groups!!!”
Reviewed 11 May 2014 via mobile

Visited Zip Trek Aviemore on Mayday along with 15 of my friends and was not disappointed. The course took roughly 3 hours to complete and proved to be very good value for money - costing as little as £25 per person.

To get to the starting point of the course, you must walk up a small hill which takes roughly 20 minutes. The first few zip lines are relatively short and low which allows participants the opportunity to build up confidence before attempting the more difficult wires. A few members of the group were scared of heights but they were under no pressure to complete the course. If one particular line was too high, you could simply unhook yourself and walk off as the pathway ran parallel with the course.

The last few wires were long and high which proved to be a very exhilarating experience - some 500 metres long. Also plenty time for photo opportunities between each zip line.

Overall great day out, special mention to Neil the instructor who was brilliant on the day!!!!

“EPIC. Amazing in Aviemore!!”
Reviewed 5 May 2014

OMG, just home from what can only be described as a flippin' amazing staff/family day out with Neil on the zipline!! For us it was faultless even down to Neil's instruction/health & safety bit. We were all made to feel at ease as there were a couple of us who were not very good with heights at all!! There were eight of us (plus a group of four holiday makers making twelve) our youngest being 10, (minimum age is 5 oh and 19 stone max. weight) a couple of teenagers too and our eldest was 46 so quite a variety of ages And the course was .. well.. AMAZING. Every part of the course was a thrill.. Scenery was awesome too.. Thank you so much Neil we loved it.. We can highly recommend these guys, pure brilliance..... We will definitely be back very soon and hopefully with more of the guys. THANK YOU.....

“Another brilliant day out”
Reviewed 9 April 2014

Having been before I knew that I would enjoy this. Yesterday I took my son and his pals as a treat for his 16th birthday and it was just as good as the last time. We were in quite a large group but it moved along quickly and we all got down without any rain. Turned out a really nice day. Next time we will try out the new line. It looks awesome. Cheers. We did this activity as a family(two adults and three children age 12, 12 and 6). We were all nervous and apprehensive to begin with but after the first zip we couldn't wait for the rest. I felt more relaxed that my youngest daughter was able to zip with me but by the last zip she was confident enough to want to go on her own. An excellent adrenaline rush for the whole family. We will definitely revisit on our next trip to aviemore
