Excellent stay! The bedroom and bathroom were extremely clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was plentiful. The Ravenscraig is very conveniently located in the main street of Aviemore centre - close to a number of attractions and activities. Jonathan, the owner, and his staff were all very welcoming but in no way intrusive. We'll certainly pay a return visit if we're in the area again.

We stayed one night here on a weeks tour of Scotland. Our room was at the back of the main house in a row of chalet style accommodation. It was kitted out for disabled access so had a very big bathroom with walk in shower and the room, though a little dark was well furnished with very comfortable beds and was nice and spacious. There was carparking on site and it is near enough to walk into the centre of Aviemore for restaurants etc. There is a large residents lounge with plenty of information about local amenities.

Breakfast was lovely and despite them being short staffed that day and very busy, nothing was too much trouble. The sausages and free range eggs definitely deserve a mention!

Would be happy to stay again.

Ravenscraig Guest House is just on the outskirts of Aviemore, but still in walking distance of everything which is very nice as it's nice and quiet.

We had sort of a 1-room-bungalow behind the guesthouse, quite small for the 4 of us, but we did fit in. Luckily our children could play outside on the very quiet parking. There are some chicken there, which they loved and they were even alowed into the "chicken's garden", which was their holiday highlight!

Unfortunately wireless was very week in this outer part, but luckily there is a nice and cozy guest lounge in the main building, with interesting books, maps, ... and wireless, so we were ok.

Breakfast was delicious and our children were over the moon to get one of the eggs of the chicken they had fed the previous day!

We went to see the raindeer, which is a must if you have children and even a good option if you don't...

We have stayed at the Ravenscraig twice now and of course, wasn't disappointed on our return. Jill and Jonathan were as welcoming as ever. We were put into a different room and I love how each room has a special touch to it. I spent the evening infront of the log fire and was kept company by Milly the cat. Breakfast is in a lovely bright conservatory and they try to use as much organic/fair trade products as possible. Great to see. As before, will recommend this beautiful guest house to anyone for the comfort, location and great service. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at Ravenscraig very much. The staff is very kind and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and there are a few choices for vegetarians. I recommend the vegetarian sausages. The room with the private en-suite was very clean and cosy. We will definitely stay there again.

We only stayed for one night, but it was enough to be impressed with Ravenscraig Guest House. From the lovely room with a beautiful view, through to the great breakfast next morning, everything was great. Aviemore and the surrounding area of the Cairngorms was just beautiful and offered a variety of outdoor activites. My husband and I enjoyed hiking around two picturesque Lochs in the area and the scenic views from the Cairn Gorm Mountain were breath-taking. I would highly recommend a stay here!

An excellent Bed & Breakfast. Very comfortable bedroom, roaring log fire in lounge. Owner & staff very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The quality and quantity of the breakfasts were excellent. everything from a full English to cereals and you can even have your porridge with rasperries, youghurt & sunflower seeds mixed in. Sounds strange but tastes lovely.
Well Done..... Highly recommended
