“Lovely Place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 September 2013

Stayed a week in August, the cabins are warm, clean and spacious, plenty of room inside and outside the cabin as we had brought our dog. The staff in the Slaters Arms pub are friendly and very welcoming, the food is excellent and freshly cooked, they also sell a good selection of Cairngorm brewery beers. Dogs are made very welcome inside the pub. We have booked to come back twice next year. The local walk Plodda falls is a must see.

“Just food to fill the stomach”

Do not expect to find the well known Scottish quality food there. We went there seeking for Scottish homemade traditional food but we found the opposite instead. It is a goof place to have a drink, that's all.

“Great week's holiday at the Slaters Arms”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 September 2013

Stayed here in the log cabins for a week, they were spacious and had everything you needed including some fantastic weather. Unlike some other cabins we have stayed in where you pay by the meter this wasn't a rip off. Good hot shower after a day on the hills and very comfy bed! Visited the pub most nights and had food a couple of times. This was home cooked and delicious and at reasonable prices. The couple that run the pub and the locals were good fun and we were made to feel very welcome. Could imagine this pub is mobbed at the height of the season! We will certainly visit again as an ideal base for exploring beautiful Glen Affric and further north. Thanks again Angela and Scott from Audrey and Scott!

“Disappointing lunch”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 September 2013

From the outside the pub looked a nice place to stop for a bite to eat.But unfriendly and unhelpful staff, over priced and poorly presented food, all dishes very basic.Would not recommend eating here.
