“A warm welcome awaits”
Reviewed 23 September 2013

We have just returned from a 7 night stay in a cabin at the Slaters Arms. The cabin was warm and comfortable with everything required for a self catering holiday, however we ate in the Slaters Arms 6 nights out of the 7 and the food was varied and excellent (especially the Venison Steak). Our two dogs were welcomed with open arms and were treated to a pigs ear every night. The Cabins have a fenced garden so the dogs can be let loose, and the surrounding area is fantastic for walking. Recommended for a relaxing holiday with a friendly atmosphere.
Thanks a lot Scott and Angie (not forgetting Kyle and Heath)

“Great food, fantastic surroundings, well worth a visit.”
Reviewed 20 September 2013 via mobile

Stayed in Cannich for 5 nights in the second week of September and ate in the Slaters on 4 out of the 5 nights, the owners Scott and Angela are a lovely couple, Angela is the main stay of the kitchen and what food she produces "absolutely fantastic" all made freshly on the premises, Scott along with his waitresses is front of house and mine host behind the bar, the setting is stunning, the clientele is a good mixture of visitors and locals, and as there is in some holiday destinations there is no resentment from the locals anything but we were made more than welcome from all in the pub.

Many thanks for your hospitality Craig & Mary (Ex Clydebank)

P.S. The 3 dogs are great entertainment.

“Lovely Place”
Reviewed 14 September 2013

Stayed a week in August, the cabins are warm, clean and spacious, plenty of room inside and outside the cabin as we had brought our dog. The staff in the Slaters Arms pub are friendly and very welcoming, the food is excellent and freshly cooked, they also sell a good selection of Cairngorm brewery beers. Dogs are made very welcome inside the pub. We have booked to come back twice next year. The local walk Plodda falls is a must see.

“Just food to fill the stomach”

Do not expect to find the well known Scottish quality food there. We went there seeking for Scottish homemade traditional food but we found the opposite instead. It is a goof place to have a drink, that's all.
