You must make time to visit. The river and loch spread out over 12 miles and the road runs alongside them. This allows access to some stuuning scenery including Ospreys and Golden Eagles. You can walk for miles in peace and quite and you will see herds of wild deer roaming around. This is a hidden gem.

This glen is magical the cairn is about 7 miles up this beautiful glen (closed Tuesdays) & maybe one could be lucky to hear a piper playing by the Cairn as pipers from all over the world when at the Games visit the Cairn to pay homage to PM Willie Ross who composed many many tunes & pipers today learn from his 5 piping books he had the Army school of piping in Edinburgh castle from after the first world war till he retired in his early 80s to live with his only daughter in Devon

Be aware that the gate is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesday mornings. It's a gateway to the most beautiful glen but don't tell everyone cos you'll spoil it.
