We stayed here for 3 nights in September, and wish we had stayed longer! Eagle brae is such a tranquil and picturesque place. The very comfy and cosy log cabins are surrounded by unspoiled countryside. You couldn’t possibly fault anything. The detail which has gone into these log cabins is phenomenal, it takes your breath away; it felt like such a privilege to have stayed in such a remarkable place.

The owners; Mike & Pawana, along with their gorgeous dog Kyla made us feel so welcome, and you instantly knew they would do anything to ensure you had an enjoyable stay. We tucked into one of their home made meals one evening, and it was simply delicious. Eagle Brae is also dog friendly; it was the perfect place to take our dog Bailey, she had a great time!

We would highly recommend Eagle Brae and can’t wait to go back!

Room Tip: We stayed in Sylvia, but every log cabin looked spectacular!

We stayed at Eagle Brae.. a group of 9 of us.. at the beginning of September. It was quite simple perfect in every way.. I could not recommend it more highly. My only (selfish) wish is that they have availability for us next time we want to go.. once word spreads Eagle Brae will be sold out year round, I'm quite sure about that.

The cabins are absolutely stunning.. beautifully designed.. spacious yet cosy. I wouldn't change a single thing about them. I've stayed at many beautiful hotels around the world and Eagle Brae would be right up there with my favourites. The owners are wonderful hosts and super friendly.. their vision for Eagle Brae is very inspiring.

We'll be back!

Room Tip: They're all gorgeous!

A friend of mine found Eagle Brae and booked us in for a salmon fishing week, and my were we impressed! The accommodation is finished to the highest standard inside the cabins and the styles and decor are a wonderful blend of north american, French alps and himalayen with beautiful carvings set into the wood around you.

After a days fishing on the beautiful and varied local beats or a productive days stalking on the hill with the very friendly keepers we enjoyed lighting the fire and sitting back with a whisky before trying some of the tasty home made food on offer.

Both Mike and Pawana, the owners, made us feel so welcome and were always on hand for anything we needed and couldn't do enough to help.

The salmon fishing is varied and very close to hand, ranging from wide open riffles and shallows to narrow and deep with secret pools to be discovered and stalked. I especially enjoyed the "wilderness" fishing higher up which reminded me of the deep Canadian wild country.

The stalking is equally varied, with help from the argo remote areas can be reached easily then the final approaches stalked on foot with the estates expert stalkers. We had 4 stags on our trip and it's reasonably priced.

We had such a great time we immediately booked up for next year, I would highly recommend Eagle Brae to anybody thinking of staying there!
