It is hardly a surprise that every visitor to Eagle Brae raves about this place. Though it may sound monotonous, I have to add my review to it because we had simply a magical week despite almost continuous atmospheric moisture.
The log cabins are furnished to such a high standard that it is hard leaving them. They are warm, comfortable, have every mod-con imaginable and the help on hand from the staff and owners is truly astonishing.
There is a welcome basket filled with wonderful goodies and should you run out of ideas of what to do in the Scottish Highlands, there is a wealth of activities that can be booked via the office.
Having been to lots of self-catering places before this really is the first one that hits all the spots and that deserves full bookings all year round. You must not miss this, it's fabulous !!!

This is a beautiful place. The cabin far surpassed what we were expecting. We enjoyed every minute of our holiday and can't wait to return. The staff at eagle brae cannot do enough to ensure that you enjoy your break. Most evenings we watched out of our window as red deer grazed 20 feet away absolutely amazing. Peace and tranquility in abundance.. This place is a credit to Mike and Pawana

Room Tip: We stayed in tringa but all cabins are amazing

Just returned from a break and stayed in Strix. The cabin is simply fantastic. Mike met us on arrival, and got us settled in superbly. The list of positives is way too long to mention. Mike and his wife and team have done a fantastic job in creating this idyllic spot. If you yearn for some peace and quiet in beautiful accommodation- look no further.
Unfortunately, the weather was not very good and that curtailed our outdoor activities. We did however manage the steep walk up to the weir, which was very invigorating. On the way down we came across a herd of deer. We came across more at night as we arrived back from dinner at the Cnoc Hotel. ( which was very good, and nice friendly staff )
Our time spent in the cabin was great and the attention to detail is marvellous. The underfloor heating is apparent as soon as you enter, and the log burner gives a really cosy feel.
In our experience, this unique type of high end accommodation is at a premium in Scotland. I am sure bookings will be brisk. The owners deserve every success for creating such a stunning place.

Over the years myself and my husband have stayed in many different types of cottages / cabins. I can say with confidence that this surpassed them all to-date. If you want somewhere away from the hussle and bussle of everyday life and return to nature this is the place for you. The Log cabin had all the modern conveniences but also made us both feel extremely relaxed.

The services offered as standard i.e. underfloor heating, log burner etc has made us more determined than ever we would love to have this in our next home........

We will be back to try one of the other cabins in the future..............

There is not much to add to the other reviews all of which quite rightly rate this beautiful place as excellent. Incredibly the cabins are even better than the photos suggest. The attention to detail reveals this to be a real labour of love. The only downside is we are likely to have problems getting booked in later in the year when we are looking to return!!.Fantastic.

We ended up here almost by chance after we had to cancel our honeymoon in Lapland due to an accident. We also had car problems on the way so arrived tired and late at night. After negotiating our way through a large herd of deer in the drive the warmth and comfort of both our welcome and the cottage was simply outstanding. The cabins are luxurious and simple at the same time with absolutely everything you might need. Underfloor heating, beautiful carvings, fully equipped kitchens, quality linens, fantastic log burner, lights on dimmer switches, wonderful welcome baskets and bathroom supplies, cozy throws for snuggling... And the next morning we awoke to stunning views and the sound of the waterfall. It was an idyllic honeymoon, where we could laze about and feast on delicious food supplied by the excellent concierge service or go for a bracing hike up the hills behind, or drive over the hills to Loch Ness. It was honestly magical as well as being run by the most lovely people and being really environmentally aware. We are already juggling diaries to see when we can get back.
