Very easy to find - which is great after a long journey. Excellent staff. Lovely, clean Caravan. Lidls Supermarket under 50yards away. There's a good Restaurant on site. We loved the Park's views: The Orkneys and the Old Man of Hoy to the north, Dunnet Head to the east, and 1 of the best waves in Europe (Thurso East) just across the Bay. Last Sunday I saw a Minke Whale surface and "blow" 200yards from our Caravan window!
Dunnet Head Lighthouse, the most northerly point on mainland Britain, is 13miles away and has the best views my wife and I have ever seen - go there on a nice evening and you'll be in for a real treat.
The Birdwatching is superb. A tour of the Castle of Mey is very interesting (14m east). John O'Groats is 20miles away, and there is a pleasant walk from Duncansby Head south to the 2stacks. Walking up Thurso River is also really nice (you can see salmon jumping in the river).
