Close to downtown, lovely hosts, beautiful old house. Would have liked to stay longer.

This place is incredible. Very quaint and cozy, and everything one would expect out of the perfect B&B! We chose it because all of the reviews for is were excellent, and now we're writing one of our own. The breakfast was exceptional, and I love how you could pick and choose exactly what you wanted to eat. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms are very spacious. We were in desperate need of doing laundry, and Ruth kindly offered to do it for us -- our laundry was delivered to our door, folded and everything! They gave us excellent advice on a whisky distillery to visit, as well as a few restaurants and pubs around town. When we left, we got to the airport and realized we left our iPhone at the B&B. We immediately called Ruth and Robert, gave them the address of our next stay, and they kindly overnighted the phone to us within a couple of hours. They even followed up via email to make sure we got the phone. I was thoroughly impressed with their kindness and effort to go above and beyond to make sure we havd a great stay. Stay here!!

Really nice comfortable rooms which were spacious with an en-suite bathroom. The Rossmount is ideal for anyone wanting to see the sights or go out for dinner or shopping as its a 3 minute walk away from the town centre. The owners were really friendly and welcoming and helped as much as they could to make your stay enjoyable. There was also a tv in room which we could watch whenever we want. I would recommend this B&B to anyone who wanted to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Inverness.

I had a wonderful night in Inverness at Rossmount. The location is perfect with just a short walk to the riverside, shops and several good restaurants and only a short drive to Loch Ness. This homely B&B is unbelievably good value for money. The rooms were enormous and very comfortable. The owners were very hospitable and helpful. Breakfast was superb. An excellent find on the whole and one I will definately return to.

Wonderful find. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood on a hill above Inverness, it is a short walk from the high street. I was in a single room, very clean and well-appointed, as was the entire place. I didn't have one of the en-suite rooms, but found the showers and toilet to be very clean and modern. The breakfast was very nice and served in a wonderful front room. I've been to a lot of B & Bs around UK, and this one was one of the best!

First of all I have to recommend the owners , a lovely couple who were the perfect, friendly hosts. Breakfast , as you wish it , ( I had everything) was something of a meal, ham , eggs , scone, sausage, mushroms etc ! , you can take less than my portion , cereal for example (hmm I frown ... there's nothing like cooked breakfast)
The beds are comfortable and the rooms are lovely ( i liked the shower too )
Perfect ? YES
Back again ? DEFINATELY
The capitals are intentional , I can't shout enough about this place.

After having enjoyed the first day of our two-day great Highlands Tour, the Rossmount was a very comfy place to come 'home' too. Our room was very clean and tidy, with a modern, fresh 'look & feel', the bathroom was superb, and we loved the little extra things that were provided: the sweets and biscuits, tea, hot chocolate, coffee, etc. After a lovely but chilly late evening stroll around Inverness it was heaven to be able to relax and treat ourselves to a steaming cuppa- and some treats to go with it! Breakfast the next day was served earlier than usual as we were going to be picked up rather early, but Ruth & Robert did not blink - although they did jokingly call our tour guide a slave driver ;-). It was great to be able to select what we wanted to have for breakfast, and we weren't disappointed - it was a great start of the day. Best bit about the Rossmount though was that Robert went to fetch one of their cats on finding out we were great cat lovers - and came back with the biggest cat ever, who was lying back in his arms with a resigned air, every bit as accommodating as his owners (everyone knows you don't really own a cat, right?). A real shame we forgot to take a picture of him... All in all, we would recommend the Rossmount to anyone travelling to Inverness!
