Was booked to stay at this establishment next week had booked the room through booking.com phoned up to confirm a few details and ask about parking etc. The man on the phone was more interested in the fact that it was 3 guys sharing a twin room (double bed and a single bed) he began to tell me he didn't have a problem with it but other people might and that we should look for somewhere else to stay! It's a family room and not suitable for 3 guys. I really don't see what difference it makes if it's 3 guys, it was a room for 3 adults that was booked. What a joke don't know what the hell he thought was gonna happen literally just 3 friends wanting a room for the night and were made to feel like we were doing something wrong. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone the guy on the phone wants to get a grip of himself and start treating his customers with respect!

We stayed in a twin room at Whinpark which was booked 'last minute'. It was a small room but had adequate space and facilities and a shower with good pressure (although it took ages to warm up). Parking was convenient and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was generous and served efficiently so we could get out to activities in good time in the morning. They did charge my credit card before we arrived because we arrived 'late' (1930) which I wasn't expecting; but this wasn't a problem and was the agreed amount. Overall a good experience!

I was so glad that I chose to stay in this truly charming Victorian building. The price for a single person in a single room was very affordable. Of course, there were no lifts, but this was not a problem. The room was extremely clean, it had everything and was just plain comfortable.
I was personally shown to my room by the owner, who was most obliging. Wifi was free and the signal was very good.
The dining room for breakfast was beautifully presented. There was plenty of variety of hot and cold food.
The guest house is a ten minute walk from the centre of town and very close to the river.
I would recommend this guest house for anyone coming to Inverness

Stayed here with a group traveling across Ireland and Scotland. We had a variety of room size needs and the hotel was very accommodating. Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed our breakfast. The hotel is about 2 block from the River Ness (such a lovely place for an evening stroll) and about 5 blocks from the heart of the city.

I had a twin room and found it a little bit cramped with two beds and two chairs in the room, but coped with it. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm, i had a great night sleep. The owner was a really nice man and even gave us breakfast for free which was cooked well, Didn't try the Wi-Fi. The only downfall was the shower, water pressure was low and took time to warm up.
Overall it's ok, I would stop again
