Pauline and Murray are exceptional hosts. The apartment is stylish, warm and comfortable and housed our family of 2 adults and 3 children (aged 14, 12 & 9) perfectly. Pauline's thoughtful touches throughout the house made us feel as though we were staying at a friends house. We would return in a heartbeat! The location was perfect for walking out to dinner or breakfast and the street parking, though busy, was easy to utilise. We highly recommend this apartment for your Inverness stay.
The apartment, as well as Pauline, was perfection. Pauline was friendly, helpful, organized, accommodating and generous. She provided a few basic food necessities, complementary soaps and lotions, and had a stocked dresser in the hallway with everything you could need, even thread and needles! The apartment itself was on a quiet, residential street just a few minutes from the rail station. It was large and spacious with comfortable beds, pillows and sitting room. It was very clean and the shower worked beautifully. The only thing to take note is that you either have to climb several series of steps or up a steep incline if you're arriving by bus/train. It's entirely possible to walk up but if you have mobility issues or a lot of luggage, a cab may be useful to take. Other than that minute detail, you won't regret renting this apartment!
Pauline's appartment was perfect and close to the castle and the city centre. She thought of everything to make us feel comfortable and at home. As a 4 members family we really enjoyed our stay. I recommand it.
With five adults (two couples, one single) we spent two wonderful weeks in Inverness. The house with the rooms on the first floor was lovingly furnished. The kitchen had everything to cook. When we missed a coffee machine (for Germans, this is vital :-)), Pauline immediately brought us a French press pot. There is only one bathroom, you should concider this during planing. On questions of the Scottish everyday life we always got a helpful answer. The residents parking in the street belonged to the booking - luxury. The location is also perfect for a walk into the city or to the castle or to the promenade of the Ness or for the way to the station (about 5 minutes each) - central but still quit. We absolutely can recommend this home in Inverness. Elisabeth, Peter, Georg, Marcel, Ursula
Our family of four (parents and two teenage girls) enjoyed our stay at Pauline's. Pauline met us at the apartment at check in, went over a few things, and answered all my questions. The location is very close to restaurants and shopping; very convenient. She had an assortment of snacks on the table, items in the fridge for our use. We felt right at home. Great shower : ). We would definitely stay again if we come back to Inverness.
This is really the perfect place to experience Inverness and the Highlands. Nestled in a beautiful neighborhood within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, the museum and the river walk, we had an amazing time exploring and hanging out. The apartment was equipped with everything you need, both comfortable and classy. Pauline was very helpful and responded right away to all my questions. she made us feel at home in Scotland and saved us once when we got lost. This was my first trip to Scotland and I had such a great time that I hope I can go back and stay at this same place. Thank you, Pauline!
We loved our stay at Pauline's place! It is a very comfortable flat with many upscale touches such as fresh flowers, Scottish bath products, thick towels and nice linens. Pauline has thought of all the the small things - lots of hooks and towel racks throughout the home, local information for traveler, etc. She left us a lovely welcome basket of goodies, stocked the fridge for breakfast and the cupboards with tea, coffee, sugar, etc. The beds are comfortable, firm enough but not hard. The flat is a good size for a small family or two couples with a terrific family room with lots of lounge space and fireplace. The location is great - easy walking distance from the train station (though up a few flights of stairs) - close to the center but a quiet residential neighborhood. We highly recommend it and would visit again in a heartbeat.
