We had booked this hotel for our wedding anniversary three months ahead of our stay. Our estimated time of arrival was 6PM and we arrived at just after 6.30PM. On arrival we were advised by the operations manageress that “all was not well” and we had been overbooked. She blamed a breakdown in the computer some time before which had coincided shortly after with a new coach booking. Clearly we were the resultant victims! The manageress was very pleasant and had rebooked us in the Kingsmill which is a local 4* hotel and central to Inverness was a more than adequate replacement. However as we had booked a local restaurant for 8PM this was all bit of a rush. As it worked out we still had a pleasant evening and stay in Inverness. However the Drumossie needs to revisit it’s procedures as surely it must “back up” its computer and they should have been able to check on any potential overbooking’s following their problems if they have any and let customers know beforehand.

The Drumossie is a wonderful hotel. Having stayed there often on business, I can say the staff are always friendly, helpful and professional. Conference facilities are very good. The bedrooms are large and very comfortable, the grounds are beautiful, the food is excellent and the breakfasts are cooked to order, unlike the increasingly normal horrible buffets. It is out of town, but for me that is an advantage.

Great value for money, stayed on a sunday evening, only £68 for the double room, brilliant, clean, modern and very up to standard
Its out of town, but a good taxi ride away (about £10)
Would recommend and stay again
We did not have breakfast as the rate was room only

Dirty shower cubicle. Filthy stained seat covers, well worn fancy cushions on bed, no matress protector sheet dicetly on matress, no tea bags, supposedly hot breakfast was cold and inedible, cheapest nastiest fruit juice.
Staff were polite and helpful and obviously well used to complaints.
this is the NEW version of this hotel - leopards can not change their spots unless parentage is different.
In need of a severe shake up for £120.00 pen night.

We stayed just for a day, but this is a excellent property. we had also stayd at the groups hotel in edinburgh and were very impressed with the same .However having a Car will make it a lot more easy to get into town.. One tip for the hotel, is to keep a few cycles for guest to explore the beautiful surroundings
