We visited Tomatin with our two sons,19 and 25. Our tour guide Fiona was very knowledable and friendly. One could tell she really likes working there and the product which is made in Tomatin.
The tour was very interesting and we learnt a lot. The sampling after the tour was interesting and we ended up buying a few bottles since it turned out that the singe malt was really good.
The landscape surrounding the destillery is beautiful.

Hi 260madeleine52,

Thanks for your kind comments on the tour and our whisky. Fiona is an excellent guide and I hope you continue to support the Tomatin brand at home in Sweden. If you visit Scotland again, please visit the distillery again.

Kind regards,

Scott

Very much enjoyed a visit here. This place deserves more as it seems to be quite well hidden away. The manufacturing process of whisky is the same everywhere but its interesting to see the differences. Our guide was well spoken, friendly and knowledgable.

Hi Andy F,

It is always good to read that somebody understands the importance of the subtle differences in distilleries when the majority of the process is very similar. If you are back up the road please stop by and we would be delighted to offer you a sample of our newest releases.

Slainte,

Scott

The staff here are not only very friendly but well educated and helpful. The tour guide was quite an amazing teacher--very knowledgeable about whiskey. Excellent whiskey as well, by the way!!! Distillery set in a lovely setting as well.

Hi Carscar,

The Highlands of Scotland are a fantastic backdrop to a distillery, we are very lucky in that respect. Thank you so much for your kind review on tripadvisor, I believe that we had a little chat about the Utah Jazz at the till, if memory serves me correctly. Thank you very much for visiting and if your travels ever bring you back to the Highlands, we would be delighted to welcome you to the distillery again.

Kind regards,

Scott

Upon arriving at Tomatin, we were getting out of the car when we heard someone say " Would you like to join the tour"? Hector was about to embark on a tour and was polite to ask us as he was about to get started. This was our first tour of a distillery and Hector was informative while being a joy as well. We've never heard of Tomatin until our visit. We're hoping to be able to locate it once we return to Virginia! Well worth the time.

Thank Anthony H

Hi Anthony H,

First impressions are important in all walks of life and we are glad that you recognise the emphasis we put on this. Hector has been a fantastic addition to the team and his tour are first class. I know that the Tomatin 12 Year Old is listed in the VA ABC so hopefully you should have some success in finding our Malt Whisky back home.

Kind regards,

Scott

Dear Miss P-Piggy,

I believe that one of our new guides Hannah took you out for a visit to the distillery. Hannah is settling in very well as part of the team and although you were her first tour she said that she loved every minute. Thank you very much for your kind words and we hope to be able to welcome you back to the distillery sometime soon.

Kind regards,

Scott
