We took 2 seperate tours with Tony Harmsworth, and after the first day, we could hardly wait for the second. The Loch Ness, Glen Affric tour and the Isle of Skye tour were both incredible. We could have never seen so much or learned so much history on our own and Tony gave us so many options and tailored the tour to our interests. I just can't say enough about how wonderful the experience was. The sights are breath taking, so be sure and bring a camera! We will go back and we will call Tony Harmsworth!!

Thank you so much for that lovely review. For those looking at the pictures, the birds are chaffinches which we feed on the Loch Ness and Glen Affric tour.

The elevated photograph was taken on one of our diversions onto the old Skye road. Customers can choose such options instead of more touristy choices.

The damn is not on our usual tours, but makes an interesting diversion too.

Will be happy to have you back.

Hugh Allison made the trip. It is rare to be able to spend the day in the company of such a fine historian and author. Scenery of northern Scotland and Isle of Skye beauty beyond words. Hugh took us to local places that would never have been seen if on large tours. Well worth the price. All future trips to Scotland will include Hugh Allison.

He is also descended from early first millennium Irish kings and, in Scotland, the Wolf of Badenoch ... but that only comes out when he's taking people to Elgin Cathedral.

Thank you for that great review. Finding those special places is something we try to do on every tour.

Hugh Allison took us on a Clan Gunn tour in May and it was the most meaningful day of our two weeks in Scotland and England. We normally don't do guided tours, but Hugh was our personal historian/geologist/naturalist for the day as well as a charming person to spend the day with. He arranged for my husband to meet with the clan commander, as well as customized the tour to respond to all of our personal interests. Highly recommended.

I am so glad you enjoyed your Clan Tour. Hugh is our clan specialist and his knowledge is encyclopedic. We can't always arrange to introduce clients to the clan chiefs, however, although we always try to make it an experience to remember. Thank you so much for your positive review.

Hugh provided a great day of sightseeing and storytelling. We learned about the history of the area and of the local legends. The scenery was fantastic on our trip from Inverness to Urquhart Castle and Eilean Donan and back to Inverness. Hugh was able to answer all our questions. If you have a limited time to see the area, this 6 hour tour is the way to go.
