On a recent trip to Inverness with my son we had the pleasure of staying in this B&B it was lovely and clean, warm and friendly. From the minute the front door opens and you are welcomed in the place feels really homely and clean. We were shown to our room called the green room not the best for a blue nose(ha ha) the room was bright, spacious and had every thing we would need. The bathroom and shower were lovely fresh and clean the bed linen was really fresh and smelt amazing my son just loved it. The following morning it was down for breakfast and we had cereal, fruit juice and a full cooked Scottish breakfast with plenty of toast. We will definetly be back, keep up the good work.

We found the Ardmeanach House with ease and I parked-up our motorbike in the spacious yet private and secluded rear car park. The rest of the grounds were tidy, well kept and well presented. We were given a very warm welcome and were shown to our room on the first floor. The room was clean, tidy, large and exceeded our already high expectations. The bed was extremely comfortable and the quality of the bed sheets was second-to-none. I didn't want to leave the comfort and coziness of this superior double. Wow! It's an easy walk to the city centre and it took us no more than ten minutes to stroll there. Breakfast was a large selection of cereals, fruit juices, yogurt, full Scottish cooked breakfast, endless amounts of toast and tea or coffee. I opted for the cooked breakfast and was taken aback by the high standard and deliciousness of it. Just what I needed to set us up for our ride to Thurso. The hospitality of the owners, the high standard of the rooms, building, breakfast, grounds and surrounding area have already started us planning at-least one return trip next year. First class. Very well done indeed to the owners of this fine establishment.

Room Tip: We were in the "Blue Room", over-looking the car park and grounds to the rear of the buil...

We stayed here for 1 night near the end of two-weeks touring the Hebridian Islands and the Highlands. The room was clean and the bed was comfy with nice quality bedding. The en-suite shower room had an electric shower, which is important as we had a couple of problems with thermostatic showers on our tour! Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of cereals, yogurt, cooked breakfast and tea/coffee & toast. Inverness centre is a 10-minute walk away and it was a welcome change to be in a city after spending 10 days on remote islands! Inverness is a great city and the shopping is brilliant. We will definitely visit again.

The owners of this typical B+B are the nicest people you can imagine! Their knowledge of the history, hiking trails, car rentals, maps was such a help, not to mention excellent home cooked breakfasts! Warm memories, even if the weather did not pamper us
Highly recommended

Room Tip: All the rooms are nice and different from each other. The place is full of J.Vettriano's reprodu...

In a city with hundreds of B&Bs, it's always difficult to choose. But the TripAdvisor reviews pointed towards this one, and they turned out to reflect it well. It is quiet and comfortable, and very well run. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and neat, with good use of space. Breakfast was straightforward and very good. Parking is off-street behind the house. Highly recommended.

Perfect location: close to the centre, yet calm, and close to the forest, if you want to combine city life with a light hiking experience. J. Vettriano paintings give a special touch of efemerity to the house. The rooms were convenient, however, rather damp, as it was raining a lot. Huge delicious Scottish breakfast. The hostess was an expert in giving advice concerning travel options and points of interest. We did not need to visit a travel information office.

This is an adorable B&B that is clean, delightfully decorated, and run by caring owners.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious and owners were very helpful with traveling information.
It is a short walk into town and has off street parking. Wireless is available and plenty of
hot water for showers. In a town with hundreds of bed and breakfasts this is the one to book.
