PROS
good hot breakfast - eggs, beans, sausage, along with the usually breakfast items
clean
quiet
coffee maker/hot pot in room
nice service - sofa bed was already made up for my son when we arrived
front desk people always ready to help
decent sized rooms (for europe- small by US standards)

CONS
not much around hotel - shopping center next door that can be walked to - pizza hut, burger king, stores, but close fairly early
one restaurant in front of hotel - eat in only, not much for children
not close to city center - cab to train station was approx 5 pounds
not really budget prices - but holiday inn express really isnt a bottom cost chain either
no bonus for being platinum member
no free wifi

Thank you for you comments concerning your recent stay at our hotel and I am glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. Our hotel does offer free Wi-Fi in the bedrooms as well as the great room area but there is a cost to cover multiple uses
Kind Regards
Cathy

We stayed in this hotel for two nights and have a split opinion. While parking space is reasonable, the room was big and comfortable enough and bathroom facilities okay, we felt we could have received more for the price. We found it strange to have Wi-Fi paid in the rooms, yet free in common areas and found the service to lack interest, just doing its average job. The breakfast was okay, but not impressive - at least the flat screen TV was nice. Could definitely do better, considering the price.

Very basic hotel. Well overpriced @ £90 per night. Very uncomfortable bed - I slept on sofa bed on 2nd night. Unpleasant, glum-faced staff. No draught beer on 1st night. No recognition for being a platinum member.

Breakfast was good for being free. Free Internet that actually worked was a good point as was the large flat screen.

Booked on line with one of the agencies - it said, double or twin room - as I was staying with my daughter I assumed we would be able to get a twin room - when we booked in we were flatly told we had a double and they were fully booked. There was no effort to help or offer to look to see if a swap could be made - ended up with one of us sleeping on the floor!
Room was nice - wasn't impressed by the buffet breakfast - not much cooked selection and very cheap sausauges, coffee was machine made and not very good.

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel, and I am glad I did. It is head and shoulders above the Travelodge across the road.
Rooms are comfortable, and there is free WiFi Internet in them. Bed is very comfortable, and I had a cracking sleep. If you need more pillows, there are extra in the room.
Bathroom is well laid out and the shower had an adjustable head to give different spray pattern. Better than the fixed ones so often seen in this class of hotel.
The hotel is spotlessly clean, staff friendly, and the free breakfast, although it is basic, is more than adequate.
Location is good for me, but you need a car or taxi to get anywhere if you don't want to eat at the snow goose.
Would definitely recommend this hotel, and will return.
