Stayed here during a quick break exploring scotland after moving up from manchester.
We love inverness and the walk along the river to the hotel is lovely.
Our room was on the ground floor, over looking the river and huge in size.
Everything seemed very clean and breakfast was decent enough.
Not cheap, but would stay again

We stayed here on a 3 night break last week and what a fantastic stay we had. This hotel is ranked a 4 star and should definately be a 5 star as the service that you receive right from you check in until you check in is way beyond what we have received at any other hotel that and we have stayed in a lot of 5+ star hotels across the world.
Check in was handled very efficently and quickly and we were recommended what to do in and around Inverness as we hadn't been to the area before. We were given room number 4 and the reception staff helped us to our room with our luggage which is a very rare offer that you get now a days. When we entered the room we were very delighted with the size, the moderenrisation and the fantastic view of the river ness which was very calming.
On our first night we ate in contrast restaurant which was very busy but the food and service were fantastic and reasonably priced.
On our second night we ate in Abstract which is the hotels fine dining french restaurant. We deceided to have the 8 course tasting menu which I can only say was like nothing that we have ever had before and was a fantastic meal we can only say that by the end we were definately full and we had to retire for the night after having a few drinks in the hotels relaxing piano bar. Yes abstract is very expensive but very much worth it.
Overall we had a very enjoyable stay at the Glenmoriston but the one factor that makes it the hotel it is is the staff as they seemed to be intrested in talking to us and other guests every time they came in contact with us or others and it felt that they weren't talking to us just becuase they had to but becuase they wanted to.
We will definately be back. A very well done to the hotel and fantastic staff.

Room Tip: River View

Just back from 4 nights at this hotel and it was excellent. Great location right by the river and a few minutes walk to the city centre, fabulous room with a massive bed, guest robes and slippers and very nice toiletries, lovely staff and great food. We willl certainly be back here very soon!

Room Tip: We had room 2 on the ground floor overlooking the river - very nice!
