“perfect night's sleep.......”
Reviewed 12 April 2010

Stayed in Inverness for a night to do some shopping and hear a band... Was going to book a budget hotel but decided to increase the budget a bit and choose somewhere a bit more comfotable..... The Hotel was a real surprise... We stayed in a seperate building with 2 large windows overlooking the River. I upgraded to a superior room - it was spotless and really comfortable, but a bit on the small side. There were plenty of other guests but it was perfectly quiet - didn't hear a door bang once! We didn't take advantage of all the Hotel's facilites - the lounge areas downstairs would be perfect if you were stying with friends - big comfy sofas, nice lighting etc. Breakfast was tasty - no cheap and greasy sausages :) Would definately book again...... ps Did spot some rooms at the back and side of the main building that looked a bit like a motel extension?

Have stayed here a couple of times on business and will definitely be back. Good location beside river and plenty of parking. Rooms vary between the 2 buildings, the main suite in the new building is superb, the older room I had this time was still fine and had a very nice bathroom but the TV came out of the ark! Staff are helpful and friendly. Highlight was business dinner I had for 5 colleagues where every course was fantastic.

We have stayed here a couple of times. The rooms in the main part are a little tired, but comfy beds and large windows. Overall, lovely service, great food and friendly bar for late night drinks. A good option when in Inverness

Had a great stay at the Glenmoriston. Stayed at many hotels in Inverness and this is one of the top best stays. Hotel is centrally located, Clean. Breakfast was first class from the buffet to the full scottish. Staff friendly and helpful. Stayed in an Executive room which overlooked the river which was lovely. Bed very comfy and the rooms have top quality furnishings. Well recommended and are returning again in April.

I have stayed in Inverness regularly for the past 16 months and this is my favourite hotel. It delivers a consistently good standard. The beds are comfortable and I get good sleep- a priority for me, its warm in the winter and the break! Lovely staff and quality food.

Having entered the Loch Ness marathon I was looking for a convenient b&b to stay for one night, but after trying countless places, none were interested in my wife and I only booking for one night.
It was quite by chance that we came across the Glenmoriston on the internet and we are so glad that we did.

The staff throughout the hotel were so friendly and helpful, from reception to restaurant, they couldn't have done more for us.
We arrived early and were told that the room was still occuppied, which we expected as we had got an early plane, but we were allowed to leave our bags in a secure room. The reception staff then suggested walks we could take along the river, or local points of interest.
The room overlooked the river, which was beautiful. Very clean, bed very comfortable and the bathroom was great.

We ate in the Contrast Brasserie in the evening, which is attached to the hotel, and the food was terrific, especially the scallops. I was being affected by the air-con and without asking me the staff obviously noticed this and turned it down.

Even after we checked out, we returned once I had finished the marathon, we were allowed to use the toilets and the staff ordered us a taxi,.

If ever we go back to Inverness, which is not likely, we would definitely use this hotel.
