They really hired a great photographer and web designer for this hotel because it's a place needed updating and certainly does not look or feel like the website projects. Located right next to the train station it is a transient hotel, where bus loads of travellers are passing through. It sure is a busy place and full of life with people waiting for their travel guides to usher them into a waiting bus or train.
The place smells old and musky, smokers huddle around the entrance door which you can barely get through, the staff is friendly enough but look overworked and tired of tourists. The Ash restaurant has a good selection of food and drinks. It most certainly is not a nice restaurant because they can't keep up with cleaning the tables or floor, which gives the place a dirty feeling but if you are tired, hungry and don't want to leave the hotel, then it's just fine.
The room we had was tiny and faced the alley, which was loaded with garbage cans and loud smoking teenagers that had no other place to hang out. The room, which needs new carpeting, was however clean. The bed is a double and when you are used to a large bed, it can be a reason for a sleepless night. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. There surely must be better hotels around in the same price category.More
