We were traveling wtih our two daughters on a 6 week trip of Scotland and the Highlands. Several nights at the Culloden House were among the highlights of that adventure! The folks there made us feel like we were among family with the warmest of welcomes and attention. Nothing was left to chance or lack of attention as they provided an impeccable level of service at every turn. From the wonderful food to the cleanliness of the room we felt comfortable beyond description. It would be hard to find any fault with this absolutely top level faciltiy and staff. They were terrific at accomodating the food fussiness of two young girls while providing an epicurean delight accross the board in the restaurant. Apologies for the delay in the review.

My wife & I dined here with friends last night & I have to say it was amazing.

The attention to detail is staggering and is what really sets this place apart. Culloden House takes fine dining to a whole new level. Each course was faultless & even more delicious than the last. The wine list was extensive with some great treats.

After we finished we were served brandies, coffee & homemade chocolates next to a roaring fire in the drawing room.

Ten out of ten

My wife and spent two nights here and felt as though we had gone back in time; an historic house with impeccable service and fine food. From the manager Steve to the small but attentive staff including Noel, Nigel and others all you have to do is ask and you are taken care of. Food was wonderful, and you cant miss the walled garden; largest one we ever saw and stocked with fantastic perennials; very well cared for. While some of the furniture was a bit tired in our room, it all worked and we loved this hotel. We will return.

This is the only place to stay if you are going to Inverness. We stayed 2 nights and it was a dream come true for me. The room was large. Our room faced the rear lawn. At 7pm a bagpiper played in the back of the house both nights we were there. The gardens were beautiful. This place is expensive but worth it for any historian. The food was excellent and the dinner was priced well. Breakfast was included and was delicious. This is not handicap accessible from what we could see.
