Arrived at the hotel with high expectations after reading reviews on here, and was not disappointed, even though in a quiet location it's a lovely setting surrounded by trees and gardens. We had a room in the garden wing which Is one of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in , with a private paved terrace with table an chairs for relaxing with a glass of wine on a summers nite. Buffet style breakfast was excellent always topped up and everything hot, hotel staff excellent ver polite and helpful , if your thinking of coming here then book it, if it's a quiet relaxing nite or two away from it all then it's spot on. We will return in the future .

Stayed here for two nights for a family wedding. The hotel staff are excellent, polite, friendly and efficient. The family room was spacious and spotlessly clean - even the bits behind the bathroom door that usually get neglected! The bed was the comfiest I have slept in when away from home and the duvet and pillows were fresh, soft and not tired looking.
Breakfast was ample, fresh and always topped up with fresh supplies. The wedding meal was superb. Not sure if room service was an option, didn't appear to be. with small children it's sometimes easier to get breakfast delivered.
Would recommend it highly and hope to return in the near future.

I have stayed in many hotels and all different ratings but I can say this is has been the best for service food tidiness the whole shabang. I would say to anyone looking at the Lochardil to book it it maybe out of the town but it is a lovely walk through the islands to the city
centre.

The hotel is a older main building and a new addition located a few minutes out of town. It is kept immaculate and the rooms in the addition were well laid out, fresh and very comfortable. The grounds very well looked after after.
Breakfast and dinner were good. The staff was very helpful, polite at all times and very hard working.
I am surprised that it is only number 4 in the Inverness ranking. I would have thought that it would be higher but of course I have not been to the other places.

Pleasantly surprised to find on arrival that we had been upgraded to an Executive room in the Garden extension.
Very modern and spacious complete with fridge, huge bathroom with large shower and queen size bed. Nice to have 2 decent armchairs instead of the usual 1 club chair!
Our room overlooked the gardens and was just a few steps from main hotel with the restaurant in the conservatory. The food was excellent.
Staff pleasant enough but not chatty or knowledgeable about the hotel and the area.

Hotel is outwith centre of Inverness but well worth finding!
