“Peaceful place”
Reviewed 14 October 2011

We loved the 1 bed apartment in Inverness, so handy for shops, walks - everything. And beautifully clean and quiet. Wooden floors and stylish black leather furniture. A pleasure to return to and crash out after a day in town.

Lidka (staff) - very helpful. And the Pizza place downstairs made me a magnificent Pepperoni takeaway when I snook back to watch a football match on the telly while my wife was splashing the cash in TKMax - or somewhere!

401 rented the apartment for 6 days ... I can only say it was the best thing I did. I was extremely well attended by carers from the apartment. It was clean and well kept. The location is perfect and close to everything.

I booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 1 night as part of a tour round the Highlands with my in-laws from S.A. Upon arrival Lidka and a gentleman met us and showed us everything we needed to know. The apartment is very impressive for a holiday let and for the price I paid, in particular the 2 bathrooms which have been fitted and decorated to an extremely high standard. The bedrooms were both large and airy and very comfy beds. As we only stayed for 1 night we didn't get full use of the kitchen facilities, however the kitchen was lovely, very modern and clean and definitely all you need. Also very close to the shops and restaurants so ideal for us.

We really enjoyed the spaciousness of this apartment. It was clean and well-appointed. The bed was awesome as was the bathroom. We had a washer and dryer which was wonderful to have halfway through our trip. The location was perfect. We walked to everything - castle, restaurants, downtown area. We stayed in 307 and the ONLY complaint was taht it was hot. And it was very cool outside when we were there. If this had been in the summer when it was hot outside (assuming it actually gets hot outside in Scotland at some point) we would have been miserable. It was on the 3rd floor in the back (so no good views) but it made it very quiet, which was nice. We also had a band practicing in a nearby apt, so we had entertainment on our balcony one evening. I would definitely stay here again. Gillian was very helpful.

It is in a main street and there are a lot of shops, and restaurants very near. It is a very clean and confortable apartment, the bedrooms and the livingroom-kitchen are enormous and it has two baths. The check-in was easy and Lidka was very kind and efficient. The check-out was easier we just left the keys into the mail box.
The kitchen was full equiped and we found everything we needed.
The garage is very useful because it is in the same building.

Location is everything sometimes. This apartment is positioned on the main street right down by the river. It was at the rear of the building so road noise wasn't a problem. A big spacious apartment (you could live in it).

We arrived at Inverness had their Highland Games at the local park across the river. What a thrill, and you really get a feel for the locals.

For the second time I chose the 401 By the Bridge apartment to stay for my holidays. It is perfect to me in many ways. The apartment is in the centre of Inverness and very close to all what you want, be it restaurants, train station, the river Ness for a nice stroll or the many pubs for a nice evening out. The apartment itself is lovely and has all what you want and need. A comfortable living room, a nice handy kitchen and a cosy bedroom. There is even a washing machine and a dish washer. I like independency and with this flat I can get up, cook and do what ever and when ever I like to. I can highly recommend the flat and the owner is very friendly and does all you need to have a happy stay.
