“Great Fish and Chips”
Reviewed 14 June 2013

Excellent food served promptly by happy staff. Good and clean surroundings with adequate parking. On the A96 just outside Forres. Excellent food with batter on the fish far excelling that of another establishment in the locality. We will be back.

“Best so far”
Reviewed 11 May 2013 via mobile

Excellent service and huge portions! Fries need a little work, but that seems to be a nationwide problem

“Hell on Earth”
Reviewed 17 April 2013

I have stopped at this chipper twice in my life. These two hour long experiences are by the far the most terrible things that have ever happened to me in my life.

My 'friend' took me to this place both times on our way home from the music festival rockness in a manner that 'its so bad thats its good'. Well I assure it is NOT good. The food is inedible. The place is depressing.

On one occasion the staff gave my friend an extra jumbo sausage, 2 for the price of one. This was not a kind gesture; instead of having to struggle through one crusty sausage shaped piece of cardboard, this horrible person wanted him to struggle through 2. NIT!

My friend is wanting to stop at this place again this year. If this happens then he will no longer be friend.

“Not as bad as previous reviews would suggest”
Reviewed 20 September 2012

On holiday in the area we passed this place a couple of times and checked out the reviews prior to calling in. Using the reasonilg that if it was that bad it would have shut down. The asian guys running it were ken enough and the food was cooked to order as there were no other customers at 1500hrs on a September Wednesday I had the haddock and my wife scampi. Award winning? not any award you would recognise, that said it was a lot better than you find in many high streets. I had eaten worse in Cleethorpes less than a month previous

“Has gone extremely downhill! Completely empty on a Saturday evening - that says it all!”
Reviewed 1 September 2012

Have been a few times in the past for a takeaway, it was nice and would have recommended it to other people. However it has now gone completely downhill!

The chips had an unpleasant colour to them and tasted as though they were off.
They only accept cash which is very annoying, especially if you were to have a sit-down meal in the restaurant area. Customer service wasn't great and we were made to feel uncomfortable. Won't be returning again, which is a shame as it used to be nice.
