Wow, what a place. Beautifully decorated, the owner really has an eye for interiors. Fantastic art on the walls, a warm welcome and a terrific breakfast. Great location too. I would go out of my way to stay here again. Try to get room 4, it's huge and has a fab window seat.

First time stay with Shella as the place we usually go to was unavailable.
The primary feature of a good bed & breakfast is that the bed should be comfy. Some B&B's fall down in this respect but not this one. We liked the stripped pine floor boarding and the reproduction pine bedroom furniture. Our room had a bay window looking out on the the road bridge in the distance. Everything was clean, neat and beautifully decorated. A good hearty breakfast well presented in a spacious dining room with the proprietrix an attentive host.
The parking was a bit tricky, but nothing that couldn't be easily managed. Road noise wasn't a problem and we found that generally our stay was peaceful and hassle free.
As we were leaving we made the acquaintance of Shella's cocker spaniel/ poodle cross who gave us a great send off.
I would highly recommend this B&B and it runs our usual stopover place in Inverness very, very close.

Stayed here for 3 nights for weekend of loch ness marathon. Shiela couldn't do enough for me an was very welcoming. Rooms immaculate. Single rooms not ensuite but that suited me as I preferred a bath! About a 15 min walk to train station and bught park. Very reasonable accommodation price. Breakfast outstanding. Handmade Black pudding a must. Would Definately recommend!

Stayed here for one night en route to Skye but it certainly made an impression. Despite arriving quite late and running out almost as soon as we arrived to meet people for dinner, our host, Shella, was fantastically warm and welcoming. Our room, though compact and facing the road, was beautifully decorated and we had a very peaceful and quiet night's sleep. The day we arrived Shella had been let down by her cleaner and was running the whole b&b single handed and must have been shattered, but she was a brilliant host and I would certainly recommend to anyone to stay here. Location wasn't such an issue for us as we were driving straight off to Skye but the main city centre is just a 5-10 min walk away. Perfect location for anyone wanting to explore the centre of town without wanting to be right in the noisy centre.

What a gorgeous bed and breakfast. Our double room was immaculate and the furnishings were just gorgeous!!! The owner is a lovely woman who makes you feel very comfortable and is very approachable. Location is perfect and well within walking distance to the city centre (10/15 min walk) We cant wait to have another weekend in Inverness and stay here again.....keep up the great work!!!! PS book direct with the bed and breakfast, works out cheaper!!!
