We booked this B&B for the Inverness Marathon and were a bit worried by the lack of photos anywhere online. What were we going to turn up to we wondered? What did await us was a lovely converted cottage on a quiet residential street with lovely clean rooms.
There are only 3 rooms, one on the ground floor and 2 in the converted upper level. Our double room was very clean and modern with all the little touches you would expect from a B&B (Tea, coffee, biscuits, clothes hangers, TV, hairdryer, sink, dressing table and mirror), the only down side was that our toilet was across the corridor and the private shower room was downstairs. Saying that, we didn't see another guest on any of our trips despite the 3 rooms being booked out. The other rooms are ensuite.
Location wise, it's a 2 minute drive to the town centre, or you can walk up to the bridge across the river into town in about 10/15 minutes. There's a lovely wee Italian restaurant at the bridge called Riva which we would highly recommend, both on service and food.
Overall our 2 night stay was comfortable and enjoyable and our hosts were lovely and accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again if we re-visit Inverness.
