“Good last minute bargin”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 May 2012

Very good value as we booked it last minute and were given a disabled room with plenty of space well appointed and purpose built for access with a large double bed, two sofas and still plenty of room. Good friendly service - the staff were all very helpful, and a nice self-serve breakfast. The gym is a little on the small side with relatively old equipment but in good order. The pool is lovely with a sauna.

Room Tip: The annex has lovely rooms and good access for the car park.

The staff were great and the food was fair. The room was tired but ok, bed uncomfortable. But The noise was dreadful. We heard when nearby rooms were entered and exiited, when the curtains were drawn, every discussion and laugh our neighbours had. A huge row and fight which we had to listen too, not sure if the walls are made of paper? Maybe the management should stay a couple of nights in the hotels so they are aware of the situation!

I stayed here whilst in Inverness on business. The room was a good size, clean and well equipped however my room had no window to see out as it was sited in the roof and opened by a pole.I did feel a little claustrophic. The lift is a little slow ,it is easier to climb the stairs-not so easy with suitcase, handbag and dog on lead. They have a good pool which I was unfortunate enough not to use but it looked super.Breakfast was self service with a good selection. It's not my first choice for the area but I would stay again if I had a 'room with a view'

Used this hotel for a very brief overnight stay. Arrived late and left early .. but .. the staff were very efficient and friendly, the room was excellent - very comfortable, large comfortable bed, good sized TV lots of channels and good WIFI connection. Fabulous bathroom. Safe and easy parking. Really good quality cooked breakfast came quickly and you could tell had been 'properly made' nice and hot and fresh ingredients.
This would be my first choice in Inverness - great value for money .. well done!

This hotel is no longer brand-new, but it has a lot of character. The rooms are a little small but very cozy. The staff make this hotel--very friendly and happy to help. Breakfast is quite good, and the little pool is great for smaller children. The water is very warm, which is pleasant. ***One caveat in case WiFi access is a must for you: Although it is free in the rooms the signal is somewhat weak. Also, it didn't work for our laptop, although it did work on our Android device. Still, if constant WiFi connectivity is a necessity for you, you might consider calling a head or making sure that you're booked in a room that has a strong WiFi signal.

Room Tip: Room 115 has a four-poster bed and has a beautifully detailed ceiling.

I have stayed here in excess of 10 times during the last year.

The food is great with plenty of choice, the staff are excellent, the rooms are well sized and the pool/gym is a bonus.

Great value too

I stayed here for three nights, on arrival the staff were polite and friendly and check in was quick. I had a twin room with good but a little worn in places decor. I had to change rooms as the door would not lock but that was dealt with quickly and little fuss. I ate in the restaurant the first night and the food was amazing. The Venison pie is highly recommended. The walk into town took 10 minutes but there are plenty of taxis and a bus that stops in the next road. The only fault of this hotel was that the floor boards were creaky so could hear other guests walking up and down the corrider and in the room next door. I could also hear the guest next door taliking on his mobile phone and opening and closing the wardrobe and drawers.
