Staying here for two nights. It's close to town. Quite dated. Furniture is akin to motel 6 in the states. Room is ok size for Europe. Bathroom has been redone and is nice. 3stars is about right for this place. Staff are average. Parking is easy. Nothing spectacular so should pay going rate.

This is rated as a 3 star hotel and that's about right. It's a bit tired and needs investment, its staff are great and the breakfast is first rate. My room was one of the smallest singles I've ever had but it had a refurbished bathroom - so investment is taking place. If Premier Inn are managing to charge £110 to £120 a night in the high (tourist) season in Inverness, it can't be a great surprise that the Craigmonie can do the same- although my single was a bit cheaper. Outside of the holiday season prices fall dramatically in the whole area. If you are in Inverness in the Summer, you have to pay a market price.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms by the lifts and over the kitchen.

Stayed for one night at the end of a coach holiday in The Hebrides. The hotel is in a lovely large house and the staff are very welcoming and helpful.

The hotel is located in a very quiet and green area on the outskirts, away from industrial estates.

The restaurant service was excellent as were the choice and quality of food served.
Bar prices were not high for an establishment such as this and service was very quick and friendly.

I look forward to further stays in this hotel.

I don't live that far away from the hotel... a mile at most but my friend was getting married here so Decided to get a room as a little treat. First of all.. The price paid was excellent. great value for money and an extremely spacious room, large bed and was to all respects clean.

We got in after a journey from newcastle decided to take a shower and the bath/shower did fill up with water it was like a mini paddling pool. The toilet did not flush properly and took 2 or 3 flushes just to get the toilet paper to disappear. As with the shower not really a big issue. especially with the price
we stayed in room 233, was nice, good view but didnt get a good wifi reception and had problem with shower drainage. I do not believe that this was a problem throughout the hotel and was an isolated incident

overall the hotel had a great atmosphere, the staff were helpful and friendly and the bar prices were reasonable. Would definitely stay again.

Used this hotel as a pit-stop for going to The Black Isle show. Lovely welcoming hotel. Nice room on the top floor, quiet apart from the slamming of other doors due to them all having closers on them.
Hotel made our dog very welcome and from the top floor we would walk down stairs and out a side door to take him out to save going through reception.
Didn't take long to walk to the castle in the town centre. Lots of nice pubs and hotels close by for a drink too. Great park around the corner for exercising our dog.

Having stayed at this hotel numerous times over the last few years. I can not praise it enough,
I must have over the years stayed in every room in the hotel ranging from the single rooms to the suites, and have never been dissapointed.
The Spa is slightly small but the most people I have seen in it at a time is about 4 it is perfect for relaxing in after a hectic day.
the food is very good and varied and if you want something different you only have to ask. All the staff are friendly and helpfull.
The hotel is situated an easy 10 min walk from Inverness castle and the town center.
As for it being tired I would prefer to say it has character,if I have a choice this is the hotel I stay in.
