“Clean and comfortable”
Reviewed 27 January 2014

Reception staff so polite rooms extremely clean and comfortable. Location is good. Definitely stay here again. Only fault is the manager of the beefeater restaurant but then I don't suppose that's premier inns fault

This hotel is as advertised on the website; the whole place is almost unbelievably clean; the staff are so courteous and totally professional If I am ever back in Inverness I shall choose to stay here.

We had a great stay over New Years. The hotel is spotlessly clean, very comfortable, friendly staff and great value (and a perfect hangover breakfast!!!) we will definitely visit again when in Scotland. When booking we weren't sure about the location, but it is 2 mins into town by car and the hotel borders a golf course so is nice and quiet. It is also on the road out to Loch Ness, so very convenient for sight-seeing.

We stayed in the Premier inn during a post Christmas trip around Scotland. We had a great welcome from the lady on reception and our room was fine. Nice to have a full size bath in a hotel. We had a great stay. Comfy beds, good pillows, nice clean, warm room. We'd just been travelling from Fort Wiliam via Loch Ness to Inverness, and this hotel is right on the main road. The city centre is 5-10 minutes drive (30 mins walk I'd say), so a bit further to walk. Its close to the Caledonian Canal which is nice. We ate at the on-site restaurant (Beefeater), I'd not really rush back there, the food was ok, but no real chips! Very corporate. There wasn't really anywhere comfy to sit as it was purely a food pub. Other Premier Inns have more of a mix of a local type pub and a restaurant, but it was OK. Staff were great.

Excellent all round. Great quite location. We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is around a 5 to 10 minute walk to the city centre. There is a beefeater next door which we didn't really use in the evenings but did for breakfast which was fantastic. Hot and cold choices and as much as you want with very friendly staff. Also a very nice chip shop and pizza shop just up the road. Very clean rooms and the staff were all really friendly. very polite and would go out of their way to help. Big enough car park. Overall I cant think of any negatives for this hotel. A big thank you to all the staff for making our little break extra nice.

I chose this Premier Inn because we wanted a budget hotel to break up the journey before catching a ferry to Orkney. I wouldn't normally make a recommendation on a budget hotel as you normally get what you pay for but on this occasion I'm making an exception. We only stayed one night but from start to finish it was one of the most enjoyable short stays I've made at any hotel and I've stayed at a wide variety. The service was first rate, both friendly and professional which put to shame hotels I've stayed at costing many times as much. Special mention needs to be made to Rod for our personal weather forecast for the ferry crossing and the look of amusement on the receptionists face as he was describing how rough the crossing can be! We would highly recommend this hotel for so many different reasons.

Fairly new premier inn, quiet setting overlooking golf course. beefeater restuarant attached - food and service above what you might expect from a franchised operation especially breakfast which was freshly cooked to order.
Would recommend using hotel as quiet location but inverness centre 5 mins away in car or 2 km stroll.
