“Highly Recommended!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 January 2014

Having read previous good reviews on here we booked this Premier Inn for a family twixmas break and can confirm every good comment is highly deserved.

Booking in, we were allocated river view rooms as requested and the girl on reception was friendly and cheery (she remained so throughout our stay and is an asset to the hotel)

Our room (103) was exceptionally large, clean and comfortable (once we found how to turn the heating off) with a lovely view. The shower was powerful.

The public rooms were immaculate and nicely decorated. Breakfast was offered in a 3 hour window and consisted of a large selection with the option of the chef cooking anything not already included in the buffet. Again the staff were attentive and friendly.

Our only hiccup was a complaint asking us to keep down the noise - at 9.20pm on a Friday evening?? Not that we were partying or anything...just laughing as we played a family trivia game. A little harsh perhaps.

Overall though I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a trip to Inverness and will be returning.

Room Tip: Request a River View room.

We went for 2 nights away from the children to do some Christmas shopping. The hotel was friendly, clean, warm and very welcoming. There was lots of hustle and bustle but the clean quiet rooms meant we could relax and the closeness to the city centre meant we could go back to the hotel as much as possible to drop off bags. Staff were friendly and helpful and rooms were very generous in size.

Great location for the train station and the City Centre. Welcoming reception lady on arrival and breakfast staff the next morning. Room very clean and comfortable with a super comfy bed. We will definitely return.

This hotel is relatively new and is ideally located in the heart of Inverness.

Friendly employees and a clean and tidy hotel for an overnight stay with the family in Inverness.

An excellent choise and highly recommended.

We recently spent a week in Inverness and stayed at this hotel.
A great location right on the River Ness and a 5 minute walk from the centre of Inverness.
Staff were welcoming, helpful and efficient and the rooms modern and comfortable.
The hotel is part of a modern chain and therefore lacks some of the character of many older style hotels in Inverness. That said, it is still efficiently, well-designed with tasteful decor.
Breakfast was well catered for and at reasonable prices. Evening meals in the restaurant were also reasonably priced and tended to be stylish bistro type meals but with table service.
We had hired a car and were able to park in the hotel car park at no cost - although it is not large and is on a 'first-in best-dressed' basis. Street parking is available nearby if you miss out.
There is a Tesco just round the corner for any personal requirements.
All up, we'd certainly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the front of the hotel, overlooking the River Ness - but without an interconnectin...

Quick overnight visit to Inverness with my wife and daughter. One of my customers recommended this hotel. Had not stayed in Premier Inn before and was pleasantly surprised. Staff were excellent, room was excellent, happy with cost, £87 for a Saturday evening for 3. Central location handy for transport and pubs and place to eat. Would also like to add that breakfast was outstanding and worth the extra cost required for it and it was free of charge to my daughter who is under 16. Would happily go back.
