You do not expect haute cuisine or sky high prices when you visit The Highlands. You want a friendly cafe in a beautiful location with wholesome food, good coffee , a bit of local banter and effective friendly staff. Your not in a rush, but you want to be valued as a customer. This is what you get at The Waterfall Cafe. A lazy morning or a lounging afternoon, no hustle and bustle. Time to chill. You are made to feel at home. This kind of local business deserves to thrive, it's what The Highland economy needs. Oh and there is complementary wi-fi and red- squirrels live on CCTV, what more do you want, Langans ?

I first came across this place last September, on a cycle tour of Strathnairn and Loch Ness and thought it great. So yesterday I was repeating my cycle tour and thought I must drop in for a coffee stop. As with my first visit l found the coffee and cakes great and staff friendly. A great setting out on the decking looking down at Loch Ness.

Visited here while staying in Whitebridge area. Nearest shop and cafe to accommodation. Located on a narrow road and lovely location. Had morning coffee and scones and both were excellent. Staff very friendly and service was in keeping with area. This a rural area and they enjoy life at a pace that many are not used too in the cities. Great to see that the city pace of life has not yet reached yet!! Would recommend a stop here

We drove to Foyers to see the waterfalls there and had the treat of a sweet at the Waterfalls Cafe. It was too cold to eat outside, but the interior seating was comfortable. Good selection of specialty sweets and coffees. What we had was very tasty. We'll plan to stop again.
