We stayed at the redcliff hotel last friday the 24th and 25th of august ,From the minute we entered the hotel we could not fault the service ,The hotel is situated 5 minutes walk from the the centre of town and has ample parking ,We were staying in the town house accross the road from hotel and could not fault our room , everything you could possibly need and a fantastic breakfast to start the day off , The owner and staff at hotel were fantastic down to earth friendly and chatty ,We will be staying there next time we are out in inverness and will
be recommending this hotel to friends and family.

Recently I took my family to the the Redcliffe Hotel for High Tea.Our first course was served quite quickly and was reasonable. We were then kept waiting for more than twenty minutes before the cakes and scones were served.
We were told the delay was because the scones had just come out of the oven!! We would not have minded waiting if someone had just taken the time to explain the delay to us.
The staff definitely lack communication skills!!
I won't be making a return visit when there are so many good restaurants in Inverness.

Our bed was so uncomfortable, we hardly slept at all. The mattress felt like it had no support at all. We had gotten a room with a pull out sofa, which wasn't set up when we arrived. We decided to just see how sleeping In the bed went, and ended up at midnight trying to get the sofa bed set up. But that was even worse than the bed. We made do and were glad to leave the next day, the bathroom looks great, newly remodeled, but we struggled for hot water, we expected more the price we were paying.

For the price of a Prem Inn, I got an exec room with partial view of Inverness castle. A couple of refreshments in the beer garden was swiftly followed by a cracking meal.2nd time here & will avoid Prem Inns in future as long as I can stay here. Staff were great too!!

We spent two nights here, enjoyed the location. The rooms were a bit small, but clean. The restaurant and bar were good, as was the service. Simple not fancy but clean, reasonably up to date and friendly .

Booked a single room but was surprised to see how small it was! The room number, 7, wasn't lucky for me - lots of noise from the kitchen fan until at least 10pm as well as from the front door underneath the room. Could hear the conversation of the people in the next room too so didn't feel like I had much sleep. Nowhere to sit in room except on the bed - which is just too far from the desk to make for comfortable working on my laptop. The wi-fi reception (for which was charged £2.50) is really poor/slow and meant limited access to websites/emails. On the plus side - good sized shower, and room was warm enough. Staff were helpful with luggage and room service. Breakfast was OK, although dishwasher running behind the bar was a bit of a distraction. Felt that the price was high for the level of accommodation provided.

Room Tip: Avoid Room 7 - not sure if any of the singles are any larger though.
