Unfortunately we could only stay one night but would have liked to spent a week there.
Then room was beautiful and the staff wonderful. A great place to stay to explore Inverness or as a gateway to Loc Ness. We did not have dinner in their restaurant but the breakfast was delicious!

Can't say I'm a big fan of the city of Inverness but maybe I didn't see it properly. Was here for 2 nights. I think this hotel is as good as it gets in Inverness. I believe it's considered luxury, but not by my definition. It was comfortable for sure. Our room had a terrace with a jacuzzi - that was pretty special.

The room itself is just an adequate size. The bathroom has the shower in the tub. The strangest thing about the bathroom is the glass door with a frosted middle panel. It's opposite the door to the room. So if you're sitting on the toilet and someone comes to the door - you're quite visible. Not so great when you're waiting for room service and one of you is on the loo...

We stayed in room 5 - if you want the jacuzzi experience. The view of the river is cut off by tree growth. We saw a small sliver of it. Rob, the manager and do all chap, was very friendly and helpful. I want to love this hotel as much as we loved him. He really did everything possible to make our stay the best it could be.

We had breakfast at the restaurant - worst scrambled eggs - teetered on being drinkable they were so runny. Maybe that's the Scottish way... Service was also slow. I think it's a very small staff running the hotel. But they are certainly trying their best.

Overall it's clean, contemporary, has internet and is a good location for walking through the town centre.

Room tip: A room with a terrace and jacuzzi is a bit of fun.

Two night stay at Rocpool Reserve hotel on our Scotland vacation. A wonderful hotel with an excellent restaurant. Quiet location close to downtown Inverness. Staff very attentive. Breakfast is included as most hotels, and it is gourmet. Our stay was too superlative to continue writing.

Room tip: Small boutique hotel, all rooms equal

We would highly recommend Rocpool Reserve hotel for your stay in Inverness, Scotland. This boutique hotel is small and very elegant. The staff was outstanding and the gourmet dining was unforgettable. There were many places to read or chat with other guests. Our room was very comfortable. The location is close to town. Staff was able to answer any questions and provide great tips on what to see in the area.

What a fabulaous restaurant. We were served beautiful canapés before our meal. Our cousin is celiac and the staff were so considerate. All canapés, and courses were scrutinised for gluten and gluten free alternatives were provided by the chef. The food was fabulous, and the presentation was excellent.
Beautiful decor and comfortable surroundings. Must visit.

Room tip: Not sure only visited the restaurant
