At the height of the summer season it is ridiculous to have untrained staff on duty at lunchtime. I ordered two sandwiches, a soft drink and a coffee. First the order had to be repeated as the barman thought I had asked for a cup of tea. 30 minutes later the coffee arrived followed by one of the sandwiches but not the other. When asked, the waitress said the barman had not written the full order down.
Unfortunately other customers appeared to be having similar problems. This really does not give a good impression of Inverness.
It would appear that the management either don't care or are content to make a fast buck from tourists. However, as a local I shall not be returning for a sandwich, let alone a meal in the future.
