“Super October break”
Reviewed 22 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

We enjoyed a short October break in a well equipped cabin in the woods. We were very fortunate with the weather and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings including forest walks, red squirrel watching on our picnic table besides the cabin and going dolphin spotting. Dan and Sarah were both friendly and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable.

“Lovely little cottage in the forest.”

Lovely place to stay. Nice forest setting. 2 bedrooms with kitchen and living. No Wifi, this can be great for relaxing and forgetting about the outside world. Squirrels and birds come down to the cottage to feed on nuts and seeds. Our only experience with the amazing little red squirrels. Highlight of the stay. Location is close to beautiful natural wonders. Well worth the stay.

Thank you for your kind review.
The area is definitely beautiful, peaceful and the abundance of wildlife, especially as they can be seen from the comfort of the living room. Watching the red squirrels certainly helps to forget the outside world.

“Perfect Highland Base”
Reviewed 24 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

This was our 2nd stay in Baillie and would recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet idyllic get away. Chalet is always clean and has everything you could need plus lovely extras like a welcome pack, milk in fridge and fresh flowers on the table.
The abundance of wildlife is another added bonus. Take a bag of peanuts and some bird food and you will be entertained for hours.

Perfect base to explore the Highlands, only 20 mins into Inverness and 10 mins or so the Beauly if you need supplies.

We have taken our dog, Paddy, on both occasions and chalet is perfect for him. Lovely safe enclosed garden. Beautiful walks around Reelig Glen a minute down the road.

Easy to book, great communication with owners. Highly recommended.

“Ideal location for a relaxing holiday”
Reviewed 10 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

The baillie lodge is the ideal location if your looking for a relaxing and peaceful break. We had our dog with us and as the lodge is enclosed and with the variety of walks there is on offer it was ideal for him too. Although peaceful it is only 7 miles to Inverness. If your looking for scenery and wildlife on your break then Baillie lodge is the ideal base.

Cosy, comfy place to stay in this beautiful area.Wildlife out of the window includes red squirrel's,numerous songbirds, badgers and a pine marten which we saw on our last night.
The house is very well equipped and a welcome pack is provided which is thoughtful. The nearby town of Beauly has some great shops for provisions.Beauly also has a launderette for drying clothes should it rain a lot(which can happen!)This was our first visit to this part of Scotland and it did not disappoint.
The owners were more than helpful beforehand with directions etc.I would recommend Baillie to anyone and would hope to return one day.
