nothing special here really, yes it is all very american themed but it doesn't stand out from anywhere else and has a cold, quite atmosphere about it. It's for a quick bite to eat while you wait for a bus.

“Food and Service Very Poor.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 April 2013 via mobile

Three of us visited this diner in April. Kids menu was £5 this consisted of a main and a fruit shoot. We ordered chicken nuggets and fries and an orange fruit shoot. When this arrived there was 3 Chicken nuggets a small bowl of curly fries and an orange juice drink which was not a fruit shoot.. I thought the kids menu was very poor value for money considering some of the other restaurants in Inverness offering kids menus and serve decent food not just something that has been thrown into a fryer. Also I would expect a side with the kids menu whether it be sweetcorn, salad, peas etc.
There was no kids dessert menu only an adult menu. My Son eventually choose a milkshake which he never drank anyway as it was half full of cream.
Now onto my starter - nachos...well they looked like they had just been dolloped into the bowl and were swimming in sour cream. There was no thought put into the presentation and did not look appealing in any way.
We were served by a waitress Debbie. She has a lot to learn about customer services. Firstly we ordered a Sparkling Water - she brought a tap water to the table, secondly half our food order was missing and when we approached her about this she got very defensive and rude and said we never ordered what we were asking for.
The decor of the place is good with Rock n Roll music giving it a good atmosphere. The place has potential but as it is the food is very very poor and over priced for what you get so I would not return nor would I recommend this place to eat .

“Not very authentic.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 April 2013 via mobile

My family and I visited here in early April. The menu offered a pancake stack which we assumed to be the traditional American stack with Bacon and maple syrup. It turned out to be a sweet dish, so we asked for pancakes with bacon and maple syrup to be told they didn't have traditional maple syrup but a rich dark maple syrup. When the order arrived the pancakes were of the Tesco variety and were cold, and the usual crispy rashers you would expect were replaced with the slightly undercooked rashers of back bacon with fat still attached. The "maple syrup" was dark brown and tasted like a mixture of Brown sauce, molasses and Worcester sauce. We all scraped the sauce off , ate what we could and left.
If your looking for traditional American fare then this is not the place. However, the service was reasonable and the decor was authentic with little guitar door handles that you could strum. But you won't find an authentic breakfast here.
