Stayed here at the end of a 2 week cycling holiday where we stayed in a different hotel each night. I have to say this was the best of the lot. The check in was quick and efficient. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms very of a very good standard. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the centre of town and about 10 mins walk from the railway station. There is no lift so you might need to drag your case upstairs. Also, I found getting to and from my room took a bit of getting used to as it wasn't obvious which way to go. Great place overall though and will stay here when in Inverness again.

Room Tip: Some of them are hard to find. Ask about this when booking

This hotel is on a busy road within short walking distance of the Town Centre.. It is used by Coach parties, and handles local functions, weddings, etc. Some parking at front, but much more at back. The small bar can become crowded, but we and our visitors were allowed to sit at a table in the dinning room before dinner was served, which was helpful.. I had not noticed when booking on the telephone for our 2 night stay that the rate quoted did not include breakfast.. Only a full breakfast is available.. Our evening meal was good, and reasonably priced, with friendly service.. Bedroom quite acceptable, but no real view,. Some noise from adjacent bedrooms, eg TV. One small point was that the liquid soap dispenser was situated at a height for using with the shower, well out of reach if one is in the bath. There was a rather noisy kitchen extractor fan nearby which seemed to run most of the day, but went off later in the evening. ,

Room Tip: Ask about noise if you are sensitive to this--from kitchen fan,a djacent rooms and perhaps the road for rooms at front. Also if there is a wedding or function.

Welcomed by very friendly staff and directed to a good sized room (for 3 adults - double bed and 2 king singles) with a quite large modern bathroom. Hotel is close to town and walking distance to the river and all the restaurants and pub. Had a couple of afternoon drinks in the hotel bar/lounge with good views. Very comfortable. Full cooked breakfast was included in our rate and it was extremely good. Staff were always helpful and friendly. Only drawback - no lift. Didn't bother us but could be a problem for some. We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay again when visiting Aberdeen.

Welcomed enthusiastically in a general scene of chaos. Overall impression, based on decor and furniture was of an hotel stuck in the 80s.

The staff were all pleasant and welcoming, and the room clean, but something was missing.

Convenient for the town centre.

Parking tight, not ample.

Finally, on returning to the Beaufort after a wander around the town, we fancied a drink at the bar, only to find it a less than comfortable, almost threatening, place to be!

Ok for the discounted rate paid.

Two friends and I were down in Inverness for a musical event in Eden Court. We had a great stay at the Beaufort. A warm and friendly place that made us feel instantly comfortable. We had a beautiful room with one double and two single beds. It was very roomy and spotlessly clean. Excellent shower over the bath (good to have a choice), comfortable beds and a good breakfast. It's situated about a 5 minute walk from the town and has its own parking. The staff were wonderful...and that can make such a difference to your stay. In my opinion a perfect hotel!
